Top Tennis Betting Picks of the Week (June 12th, 2023)

ATP – BOSS OPEN – Stuttgart, Germany

  • When: Tuesday, June 13th, 2023

Denis Shapovalov vs. Marton Fucsovics

Shapovalov had a decent French Open. In the first round, the favorite in this knocked off Brandon Nakashima in 5 sets. Then in his second round match, Shapovalov beat Matteo Arnaldi. Losing to Carlos Alcaraz in the third round is no big deal.

Marton Fucsovics had to qualify to make this tournament. Marton is motivated. Not only that, but Fucsovics lost to French Open winner Novak Djokovic in the second round. Marton pushed Novak to a tiebreaker in one of the sets. The dog can bite.

Tennis Betting Pick: Marton Fucsovics +125

Jiri Lehecka vs. Frances Tiafoe

In his first round match, Jiri Lehecka bested Marcos Giron 4-6, 6-3, 6-4. Even without looking at Frances Tiafoe’s form, it’s difficult going against Lehecka in this.

Tiafoe had an okay French Open. But the odds make him unplayable. Lehecka turned it on against Giron and deserves a look at the juicy +240 odds.

Tennis Betting Pick: Jiri Lehecka +240

ATP – Libema Open – ‘s-Hertogenbosch, Netherlands

  • When: Tuesday, June 13th, 2023

Arthur Rinderknech vs. Alexei Popyrin

At the French Open, Rinderknech played well enough to make it to the second round. Taylor Fitz ended Rinderknech hopes of moving forward at Roland-Garros.

Alexei Popyrin lost his first match at the French Open. Popyrin pushed Aslan Karatsev to 4 sets and a tiebreaker. For sure, Rinderknech an with this, but Popyrin has a youth edge, he’s just 23, and should be well-rested after the early exit at Roland-Garros.

Tennis Betting Pick: Alexei Popyrin -167

WTA – Libema Open – ‘s-Hertogenbosch, Netherlands

  • When: Tuesday, June 13th, 2023

Katie Volynets vs. Catherine McNally

21-year-old American Katie Volynets faced Liudmila Samsanova in her first French Open match. No wonder she didn’t make it to the second round.

On Tuesday, Volynets faces Catherine McNally. The favorite in this played at the Trophee Clarins in her last. So Volynets was in the more high-profile tournament. The dog offers over lay odds.

Tennis Betting Pick: Katie Volynets +169

Celine Naef vs. Venus Williams

For years the great Venus Williams has played tennis because she enjoys it not because she needs the money or because she’s looking to win.

The reason Venus is an underlay at +186 is for that reason. Celine Naef should dominate. So let’s consider the -227 to be easy money.

Tennis Betting Pick: Celine Naef -227

Susan Bandecchi vs. Victoria Hruncakova

Bandecchi had to qualify for the Libema Open. So, for sure, she is the underdog in this. But although Bandecchi had to qualify, she did so playing terrific tennis, beating Mai Hontama in 2-of-3 sets.

Victoria Hruncakova qualified for the French Open and then lost to Elise Mertens in her first match. Hruncakova seems a step above Bandecchi. So although we’d like to put money behind the underdog, it’s impossible to play against Hruncakova. The favorite might be on the verge of becoming a breakout star.

Tennis Betting Pick: Victoria Hruncakova -263
