Huesler had to qualify for the Rothesay International. The slight underdog in this beat Marek Gengel and then got by Beibit Zhukayev in the final qualifier. In his first round match, Huesler kept the good times rolling, beating Ryan Peniston.

Favorite Francisco Cerundolo got a first round bye. Cerundolo is 24-16 this season and has already pocketed close to $1.247 million. The chalk takes this.
