What is Craps?

Craps is one of the world’s must popular table games. Players make their bets. The dealer instructs the shooter to toss the dice, the dice set the point, and then players collect winnings or the dealer takes the money off the craps table.

Craps Table Layout

The key to winning at Craps is understanding the table layout. Check out a quick introduction to the craps table!

  • Pass Line – Bet the Pass Line if you believe the shooter tosses the established point, it could be 6, 8, 10, etc., before throwing a 7, or you think the player throws a 7 or 11 on the come out roll.
  • Don’t Pass Bar – Bet the Don’t Pass Bar if you believe the shooter throws a 2, 3, 4, 9, 10, 11, 12 on the come out roll or if you believe the shooter throws a 7 before the established point.
  • Come Bet – You place a bet on the come bet section after a point has been established. The come bet wins if the player rolls a 7 or 11 after you make the bet. The come bet loses if the player rolls a 2, 3, or 12 after you make the bet. The come bet becomes a point bet if it doesn’t win or lose.
  • Don’t Come Bet – A 7 or 11 on the roll right after you make a don’t come bet is a loser, a 2 or 3 is a winner, and a 12 is a push.

You can also make Field bets, Big 6 and Big 8 bets, and Place Bets. When you make Place Bets, you make money every time the shooter rolls your Place number, 6, 8, 4, 10, etc., before rolling a 7, or crapping out.
