Kansas City Chiefs vs. Tennessee Titans

  • 2021 NFL Week 7 Odds: Kansas City Chiefs -4.5

Kansas City might be back on track. The Chiefs blasted the Washington Football Team 31-13. The thing to emphasize about the win isn’t that KC covered the spread. It’s that the Chiefs’ D held the WFT to 0 points in the second half. Tennessee is a more difficult team to deal with, though. The reason? Derrick Henry is unstoppable. If the Chiefs decide to concentrate on Henry, Ryan Tannehill should have a field day versus KC’s secondary. Titans have a shot to win this on the moneyline. Taking the points is the safer play.

NFL Week 7 Pick: Titans

Carolina Panthers vs. New York Giants

  • 2021 NFL Week 7 Odds: Carolina Panthers -3

Minnesota handed Carolina their third straight loss. Although many believe the Panthers get well versus the Giants, we can’t forget that NYG beat the Saints in New Orleans a few weeks ago. The Panthers’ defense has had trouble stopping similar offenses, Carolina lost a game to the Eagles in NFL Week 5, and could be even less effective on Sunday. The Giants, like the Titans, can win this on the moneyline. Grabbing the 3 points is too attractive.

NFL Week 7 Pick: Giants

Atlanta Falcons vs. Miami Dolphins

  • 2021 NFL Week 7 Odds: Atlanta Falcons -2.5

Often, an NFL team shows at least one positive from a loss. In Miami’s case, the positive that came out from their 23-20 loss to the Jacksonville Jaguars in London this past Sunday is how Fins’ quarterback Tua Tagovailoa threw for 329 yards, tossed a couple of TD passes, and completed over 70% of his throws. Tua and Miami are getting no respect to win this straight up. The Falcons aren’t much better than the Dolphins. Also, Tagovailoa should carry momentum from the good performance. Miami moneyline is the play.

NFL Week 7 Pick: Dolphins

Cincinnati Bengals vs. Baltimore Ravens

  • 2021 NFL Week 7 Odds: Baltimore Ravens -6

As long as Lamar Jackson steps onto the field for the Baltimore, the Ravens are a threat to win games and cover spreads. But this feels like too many points. The Ravens head into this after squashing the Los Angeles Chargers. There’s a chance Baltimore bounces. Cincinnati has quietly gone 4-2. The Bengals have a decent defense while quarterback Joe Burrow is killing it. Take the points.

NFL Week 7 Pick: Bengals

Philadelphia Eagles vs. Las Vegas Raiders

  • 2021 NFL Week 7 Odds: Las Vegas Raiders -3

No doubt, the Raiders impressed in NFL Week 5. Facing the Denver Broncos in Colorado a +5 underdog, Las Vegas scored a huge 34-24 win. But before we start crowing about how awesome Vegas is without Jon Gruden on the sidelines, we shouldn’t forget that Denver has been on a slide for the past few weeks. The Broncos just aren’t a very good team right now. Philadelphia isn’t a good team either, but the Eagles could catch LV napping. Jalen Hurts is tough to play against. The Eagles’ defense locked down on Brady and the Bucs last Thursday night in the second half. Philly can win this on the moneyline.

NFL Week 7 Pick: Eagles

Chicago Bears vs. Tampa Bay Buccaneers

  • 2021 NFL Week 7 Odds: Tampa Bay Buccaneers -1

All the trends say Tampa covers, including the one that says TB is 6-1 ATS in their last 7 after an against the spread loss, and 6-1 ATS in their last 7 home games. The Bucs have the worst pass defense in the NFL. Too bad Justin Fields doesn’t complete enough throws, 53.5%, to make a dent. Bucs cover.

NFL Week 7 Pick: Buccaneers

Indianapolis Colts vs. San Francisco 49ers

The 49ers are a terrible covering team while the Colts head to the Bay Area after a victory. Taking the points makes a ton of sense. The moneyline attracts, though, because the Niners’ D is banged up and both SF quarterbacks are listed as questionable. Indianapolis’ offensive line should punish San Francisco’s front seven. Expect Jonathan Taylor to have a big game when leading Indy to the straight up win.

NFL Week 7 Pick: Colts

New Orleans Saints vs. Seattle Seahawks

  • 2021 NFL Week 7 Odds: New Orleans Saints -5

Geno Smith played great against the Pittsburgh Steelers. Russell Wilson’s back up almost led the Seahawks to a moneyline victory. But Geno and the Hawks face a better defense on Monday night. Also, New Orleans’ quarterback Jameis Winston threw 4 TD passes and for 279 yards in a win over the Washington Football Team in NFL Week 5, which was his best game as a starter in the Big Easy. The Saints have developed into one of the better teams in the NFC. They should win and cover.

NFL Week 7 Pick: Saints
