Denver Broncos vs. Kansas City Chiefs

• When: Thursday, October 12th, 2023. 8:15pm EST.
• Where: GEHA Field at Arrowhead Stadium, Kansas City, MO
• NFL Odds: Bears (+10.5) // Commanders (-10.5)

The line is massive, but the Denver Broncos are the worst team in the NFL. Some say the Cardinals. Some say the Bears.

Not us. The worst team in the NFL is one with Sean Payton as their head coach and Russell Wilson as their quarterback. The game has passed by Payton. Russ doesn’t seem to want to play anymore. Patrick Mahomes and Travis Kelce do. So the Chiefs roll.

Baltimore Ravens vs. Tennessee Titans

• When: Sunday, October 15th, 2023. 9:30am EST.
• Where: Tottenham Hotspur Stadium, London
• NFL Odds: Ravens (-3.5) // Titans (+3.5.5)

At first glance, the Ravens should cover this spread. Tennessee is terrible against the pass and Lamar Jackson has some weapons this season.

But Tennessee is tough to beat straight up at home, much less beat by 5 points. So although the game can go either way, we must take the points on the Titans.

Washington Commanders vs. Atlanta Falcons

Washington’s offense is actually decent. It’s their defense that’s a disaster. The Commanders allow an average of 32 points per game, ranking thirty-first in the league.

D.C. gives up 133.6 rushing yards on average per matchup. Bijan Robinson is going to have a lot of fun on Sunday.

Minnesota Vikings vs. Chicago Bears

• Where: Soldier Field, Chicago, IL
• NFL Odds: Vikings (-2.5) // Bears (+2.5)

Why are the Vikings favorites versus the Bears even though this game happens in Chicago? Your guess is as good as ours.

Justin Jefferson is doubtful. So although Minnesota will move the ball and score points, they won’t score nearly as many as the Bears. Chicago should be the favorite, which means we’re taking the points for sure.

Indianapolis Colts vs. Jacksonville Jaguars

• When: Sunday, October 15th, 2023. 1:00pm EST.
• Where: Soldier Field, Chicago, IL
• NFL Odds: Colts (+4.5) // Jaguars (-4.5)

The Jags have hit their stride. It took a couple of games, but Jacksonville is back to beating foes.

The Jags dusted Atlanta 23-7. Then in their next game, Jacksonville upset Buffalo 25-20. In NFL Week 1, Jax beat the Colts 31-21. We should see a similar score on Sunday in the rematch.

San Francisco 49ers vs. Cleveland Browns

• When: Sunday, October 15th, 2023. 1:00pm EST.
• Where: Cleveland Browns Stadium, Cleveland, OH
• NFL Odds: 49ers (-6) // Browns (+6)

The line leaped from Niners -3.5 to -5.5. The reason is simple. San Francisco’s offense is unstoppable and it’s impossible to beat their defense.

The Browns will put forth a decent effort. They will still lose by 14 to 20.

Seattle Seahawks vs. Cincinnati Bengals

The Bengals finally played last Sunday. Cincinnati beat up a game but overmatched Arizona Cardinals squad. However, this Sunday, the Cincy Tigers take on one of the NFC’s better teams.

Seattle is playing great football. The fact the line hasn’t moved much means NFL bettors respect the Hawks.

New Orleans thrashed New England 34-0. The Saints beat up the Patriots in every phase of the game. Houston rookie QB C.J. Stroud hasn’t yet faced a defense as good as the Saints’. Another blowout Saints victory could happen.

We’re about to write something we never thought we’d ever write: the Raiders are the play of the week.

No, seriously. Vegas should absolutely dominate the New England Patriots. The Pats’ defense is a mess. Jimmy G. will throw right, left, up the middle, and complete passes to six different recievers. New England’s offensive line is terrible. So Maxx Crosby should sack Mac Jones 4 times.

Detroit Lions vs. Tampa Bay Buccaneers

• Where: Raymond James Stadium, Tampa, FL

Tampa Bay allows 27% third-down efficiency from their opponents in the red zone. The Bucs are allowing 17 points per game.

Oh, and Baker Mayfield is playing great football. Detroit should be favored, but by 1.5, not by 3.

Arizona Cardinals vs. Los Angeles Rams

Arizona has a solid defense. However, Cooper Kupp is back. What’s crazy is that even with Kupp in the lineup, superstar rookie Puka Nacua caught 6 passes for 57 yards and scored a TD versus the Eagles.

Kupp caught everything thrown his way. The Rams’ D should have a much easier time containing the Arizona offense than it did containing Philly’s.

Philadelphia Eagles vs. New York Jets

• When: Sunday, October 15th, 2023. 4:25pm EST.
• Where: MetLife Stadium, East Rutherford, NJ
• NFL Odds: Eagles (-7) // Jets (+7)

The Jets have a good defense, but this is a bad matchup. NYJ is one dimensional on offense.

If the Jets can’t rush the football, they can’t score points. Philly ranks first against the rush. So although the Jets D will do some good things on Sunday, Eagles cover.

New York Giants vs. Buffalo Bills

• Where: Highmark Stadium, Orchard Park, NY
• NFL Odds: Giants (+14) // Bills (-14)

The Giants average less than 13 points per game. The Giants defense allows over 30 points each contest.

The line is massive for sure. But Buffalo should have no trouble covering. A 21-point victory is a real possibility.

Dallas’s 42-10 loss to San Francisco could have lasting effects in this. Teams don’t bounce back as well after a brutal loss like the one the Boys suffered.

On Monday, Big D travels to L.A. to take on the Chargers. Brock Purdy completed almost every single pass agianst the Dallas defense. Justin Herbert leads the league in total passing yards. So JH should carve up the Dallas D.
