The Broncos have won 6-of-7 while the Lions head into this game after a stunning loss to the rival Chicago Bears. Will Detroit bounce back with a win and cover on their turf? Why Bet on the Denver Broncos?

One of the reasons Sean Payton decided to coach the Broncos is because Denver has had a good defense for the past few seasons. Payton knew all he had to do was get the offense together and Denver would start winning games.

In the Broncos’ last 7, only three opponents have scored 20 or more, the Vikings dropped 20 in a 21-20 Denver win, the Bills scored 22 in a 24-22 Broncos victory and the Texans scored 22 in Denver’s lone loss in their last 7, a 22-17 game.

Denver’s defense can stop the rush and the pass equally well. So the Lions will have to be creative to score touchdowns versus the Broncos.

It took Russell Wilson a couple of months, but the former Super Bowl winner has finally put it all together. Wilson and Courtland Sutton make for one of the NFL’s top QB to WR combinations.

Wilson has thrown 23 touchdowns to just 8 picks. 10 of those 23 TD passes went to Sutton. When the Broncos aren’t beating you in the passing game, Russ is handing the ball off to a bevy or running backs that can take it to the house.

Detroit’s D has begun to struggle. The Lions have given up 28 or more points in each of their last 3 games.

The Packers scored 29 in a 29-22 Detroit loss. The Saints scored 28 in Detroit’s 33-28 win and the Bears scored 28 last Sunday in a 28-13 Detroit defeat.

Part of the problem is that Detroit sells out to stop the rush. Doing so allows receivers to find soft spots in zone coverage or to beat the Lions’ defensive backs in man-to-man.

Although Jared Goof, Amon Ra S-Brown, and David Montgomery continue to move the football, Detroit’s offense tends to bog down in games.

The win over the Saints is a perfect example. Detroit went up 21-0 in the first quarter. Somehow, the Saints managed to cut the lead to 5 and were driving against the Lions before Bruce Irvin knocked out New Orleans QB Derek Carr.

The Broncos are playing great on both sides of the ball. Denver knows that after a rough start, they’re in a position to secure a wild card or, if they get some luck, beat the 8-5 Chiefs and win the AFC West.

Denver won’t fail. Detroit’s issues on both offense and defense continue as Denver scored their seventh win in their last 8 games.
