Why Bet on the Vegas Golden Knights?

Slowly but surely, the Golden Knights regained momentum in the series. They took a heavy loss in Game 1 and were close to victory in Game 2. In Game 3 and Game 4, home field advantage had a prominent role, in which they were able to get the wins in Sin City. Just at home, the Knights outshot the Avalanche 78-38 overall. They’ve also limited Colorado’s shooters to just two goals per game in the last three encounters.

The offense has Jonathan Marchessault, who has brought a lot of power to the front line. He’s help with half of the eight goals in the past two games, with a least one point since Game 1. So far, his postseason records have six goals and eight points total in his five playoff games. He might bring that needed win, so they can try to close the series at home.

Why Bet on the Colorado Avalanche?

Vegas might be having some success right now, but for the Avs, home is where all things good happen. They tied the league’s best home record during the regular season, which ended 22-4-2, and have a 4-0 record in the playoffs. They have been limiting the visiting team to just 1.62 goals per game. So it’s no wonder they are the favorites here, especially with those stats.

Looking at their current stats, they’ve scored first in six of eight playoff games. They’ve outscored the Golden Knights by an 8-2 margin during the first period. And their regular season stats, they were pretty much on top of the rankings. I don’t doubt the home field advantage will come into play, mostly because they’ve done so well this season.

Golden Knights vs. Avalanche Betting Trends

  • The Golden Knights are 12-6 SU in their last 18 games on the road.
  • The Golden Knights are 3-7 SU in their last 10 games when playing on the road against Colorado.
  • The totals went under in 4 of Vegas’ last 6 games played on a Tuesday.
  • The Avalanche are 11-2 SU in their last 13 games.
  • The Avalanche 10-0 SU in their last 10 games at home.

Golden Knights vs. Avalanche Expert Betting Predictions

We’ve seen the power that both teams brings. They were the top teams heading into the playoffs. And it’s been quite a steady series, considering the fact that Colorado looked too strong at the beginning. But like we’ve mentioned before, stats are the least of their problems when it comes to the playoffs. Being at home has benefited the Avalanche, but the Golden Knights have regained the confidence they thought had lost. It will be an very interesting Game 5.
