Why Bet on the Tampa Bay Lightning?

Whatever the Hurricanes have thrown towards the Lightning, they’ve been able to take down and move forward. Doesn’t matter if it’s the defense or in a shootout, the champions are prepared for any situation, especially if they want to win another title. The power house in the offensive line Nikita Kucherov and Steven Stamkos provides that needed force to score. So they might have plenty of action tonight.

For goalie Andre Vasilevskiy, he currently holds a save percentage of 0.949 and a goals against average of 1.67. His toughest game so far was Game 4, when he took four goals in the first half, but was able to shut down the Canes for the third period, helping them to get more opportunities in the front, which they ended up winning. If Vasilevskiy plays at his best, there’s no stopping him.

Why Bet on the Carolina Hurricanes?

The Canes performance so far this postseason has them averaging an expected goal rate 6.75, though they usually have underachieved in this area compared to the actual amount of goals they get. They’ve been a great team to watch so far, but they just don’t have some key players that could make the difference in Game 5.

Their two best scorers, Vincent Trocheck and Nino Niederreiter are out due to injury, but there are talks for Niederreiter to hit the ice tonight. He scored 20 goals in 56 games of the regular season. If he’s able to play tonight, there might be a chance for the Canes to get some important goals in, though going through Vasilevskiy is already a tough thing to do.

Lightning vs. Hurricanes Expert Betting Predictions

The Hurricanes have lots of pressure heading into tonight’s game. Playing at home will boost the morale, after getting so close to victory in previous games. Then again, the Lightning are the defending champions and won’t let any team stand in their way. It hasn’t been that easy for them either and might get an upset if they take this game to lightly. Who will take the win?
