Why Bet on the Vegas Golden Knights?

The Golden Knight are on of the top offensive teams in the league right now. But their performance in the playoffs hasn’t been up par. They are currently averaging 2.8 goals per game. On the defensive side, they’ve had a bit improvement, allowing 1.6 goals per game. In Game 5, they gave away 4 goals, so they need to revaluate the line to stop Minnesota from taking the lead.

Stats indicate that Vegas were dominant in Game 5, with a 3.87 expected goal rate and a 72.4% in Corsi For, these are part of the reasons why they are one of the top offenses. Sadly, after coming off a shutout in Game 4, Marc-Andre Fleury couldn’t catch a breath in Game 5. He stopped 10 of the 14 shots from Minnesota. He will be back for Game 6, already adjusted to what happened and prepared anything that will be shot at him.

Why Bet on the Minnesota Wild?

Minnesota simply had to create a game plan that could work to survive the series, hopefully winning in the process. The first four games were tough ones to go through, but they got their second, unexpected win on Monday night. Now the question is if they can repeat that. They’ve played well on the offense, averaging 1.6 goals per game during the playoffs. The defense will have to step it up. They are averaging 2.8 goals per game.

Cam Talbot will be the lifesaver for the Wild tonight. In Minnesota’s two wins, he stopped 80 of 82 shots from Vegas. If the defense is able to cover the net well, and Talbot has all of his sense sharp, the Wild might just pull this upset off.

Golden Knights vs. Wild Expert Betting Predictions

Should you go against Minnesota? Well, they haven’t been doing real good in general throughout the series, but during Playoffs, stats sometimes just doesn’t matter. But Vegas is a much more solid, all around team. Minnesota might have the home field advantage, that still won’t stop the Golden Knight from taking them down. Look what happened after their first loss. We might see that happen once again.
