NASCAR Season is underway

Denny Hamlin won the Busch Light Clash at the L.A. Coliseum on Feb 4, but the real action in NASCAR starts a week after the Super Bowl on Feb 19 when the best drivers in the world head to Daytona International Speedway for the Dayton 500. Circle the date and rev your engines for another fantastic NASCAR Season.

Weekly UFC events

Post Super Bowl, Dana White and UFC have very few breaks. If a UFC numbered event doesn’t take place, then a UFC Fight Night usually does.

The next number event, UFC 298, happens on Feb 17. Then on March 9, UFC 299 Omalley vs Vera 2 takes place. Expect at least one numbered UFC event every month from now until December.

Boxing heats up

On March 8, Anthony Joshua takes on Francis Ngannou. Then later in the month, Tim Tszyu battles Keith Thurman.

On May 6, Nayoa “The Monster” Inoue throws down against Luis Neary. Vasily Lomachenko is back in action a week later on May 11, going up against Australian tough guy George Kambosos Jr.

Joshua – Ngannou, Tszyu – Thurman, Inoue-Neary, and Lomachenko-Kambosos leads up to the biggest bout of the year on May 18, Tyson Fury versus Oleksandr Usyk for the unified heavyweight title.

F1 gets going in March

The Bahrain Grand Prix, Formula 1’s first race of the season, happens on March 2. Will Max Verstappen make it three in a row? Or will changes at McLaren lead to an upset by Lando Norris or Oscar Piastri? How will Lewis Hamilton and Charles Leclerc fair? F1 is about to drop the green flag.

Triple Crown of Horse Racing

This year’s Kentucky Derby takes place on May 4. Two weeks later it’s the Preakness Stakes. Then three weeks after that on June 8, it’s the Belmont. Will we have a Triple Crown winner this year?

Champions League & UEFA League Soccer

The Champions League Round of 16 begins this coming Tuesday on Feb 13. From there, it’s a battle to the June 1 final at Wembley Stadium in London.

Also, UEFA League soccer continues until late May and then the new soccer season starts in early August.

NCAA March Madness Selection Sunday on March 17

Selection Sunday for this year’s NCAA Men’s College Basketball Tournament happens on March 17. Sports bettors won’t have to wait long for the second most important betting event of the year to begin.

MLB Season starts on March 20

The 2024 Major League Baseball Season begins on March 20. Shohei Ohtani takes his considerable skill set to the favored Los Angeles Dodgers. Top contenders include the Boston Bruins, Vegas Golden Knights, the surprising Vancouver Canucks, the Colorado Avs, and the New York Rangers.
