Who Are the Favorites to Win the 2021 Toyota 400?

Martin Truex Jr.

  • 2021 Toyota 400 NASCAR Odds: +400

Truex already has two wins this season after coming away with a victory last Sunday in Martinsville. He’s not just a favorite because of momentum. It’s also because he’s won twice at Richmond Raceway before to go with 12 top 10s in 29 races on that track.

Brad Keselowski

  • 2021 Toyota 400 Race Odds: +600

Keselowski has struggled lately with two sub-25 finishes in his last three races, but he remains a driver to watch out for this coming weekend in Richmond. Keselowski has two wins in 22 appearances at Richmond Raceway and a 12.18 career average finish on that track.

Who are the Sleepers to Win the 2021 Toyota 400?

Ryan Newman

  • 2021 Toyota 400 Race Odds: +6600

Newman hasn’t been consistent this season, which makes him a highly volatile pick. That’s precisely why he can be a valuable sleeper for this race. Newman has two top 10s this season and wasn’t too bad when he finished 19th at Martinsville last week.

Cole Custer

  • 2021 Toyota 400 Race Odds: +10000

Custer began the season with a decent back-to-back top 13s at Daytona 500 and at the Daytona Road Course race. He hasn’t recorded a better performance since, but Custer has had a pair of top 20s in his last three races, which is a clear improvement from a prior stretch that saw him finish 25th or worse in three straight races. At his 2021 Toyota 400 odds, Custer is a sleeper to keep an eye on.

Expert’s Prediction for the Toyota 400 2021 NASCAR Cup Series Race

Martin Truex is almost certainly going to attract most of the attention, given his past success in Richmond, but the likes of Brad Keselowski, Denny Hamlin, and Joey Logano shouldn’t be ignored in any race. There’s also Kyle Busch, who’s won this event four times in a row from 2009 to 2012. Any of those names could be a wise pick to win at the 2021 Toyota 400.
