Novak Djokovic vs. Rafael Nadal
The world’s top ranked player has rolled through his opponents. Novak Djokovic dusted Yoshihito Nishioka 6-3, 6-1, 6-0. Then in the second round, Djokovic blasted 6-2, 6-3, 7-6 (7-4). Ajaz Bedene in the third round proved no match versus Djokovic. Novak beat Bedene 6-3, 6-3, 6-2. Facing 15-seed Diego Schwartzman in the fourth round, Djoker won again, this time via a 6- 1, 6-3, 6-3 score.
But as well as Djokovic has played, Rafa has played better. Nadal has won all four of his matches in straight sets. The King of Clay relishes the chance to prove he’s still the best at the French Open. Expect a close match. At the end, though, Nadal wins.

Alexander Zverev vs. Carlos Alcaraz
How much respect do oddsmakers and handicappers have for Carlos Alcaraz? The young superstar in the making is close to a -500 favorite over one of the best tennis players in the world, Alexander Zverev.
After requiring 7 sets to beat Albert Ramos Vinolas in the second round, most thought Alcaraz was through. But Carlos beat Sebastian Korda and Karen Khachanov in straight sets. Zverev has played a combined 14 sets in his last two matches. The underdog should be too tired to hang with Alcaraz in this.

Cori Gauff vs. Sloane Stephens
Cori Gauff is looking for her first major championship. So far, she’s playing like it’s no big deal. Cori beat well-regarded Elise Mertens in straight sets in the fourth round. No doubt, Gauff can win this. But she offers underlay odds to beat tough Sloane Stephens. After beating Jule Niemeier and Sorana Cirstea in straight sets, Sloane settled down in the third and fourth rounds, beating both Diane Parry and Jill Teichmann in 2 sets. The odds make Stephens more than playable.

Martina Trevison vs. Leylah Annie Fernandez
In the first three rounds, Martina Trevison played flawless tennis. The underdog in this beat Harriet Dart, Magda Linette, and Daria Seville in straight sets. But in Round 4, Trevison struggles against Aliaksandra Sasnovich. Trevison required 3 sets, including a 12-10 extra set to beat Sasnovich. Fernandez got past Belinda Bencic and Amanda Anisimova in the third round and the fourth round. Fernandez should win this match.
