NFL Week 8 kicks off on Thursday with a huge game. Reeling Tampa hosts Baltimore in a battle between legendary quarterback Tom Brady and soon to be legend Lamar Jackson. Then on Sunday, the Bears tackle the Cowboys a massive underdog, the Patriots hope to bounce back from an embarrassing loss when they face the Jets, and Buffalo hosts Green Bay a -10.5 chalk.

Baltimore Ravens vs. Tampa Bay Buccaneers

Tampa is a disaster. The Buccaneers have lost 2-of-3 and 3-of-4. What’s alarming is that the Buccaneers’ losses happened against a couple of the worst offenses in the league, Pittsburgh’s and Carolina’s.
Not only that, but TB is on a 5-game losing streak against the spread. Baltimore should easily cover the -1.5.

Chicago Bears vs. Dallas Cowboys

- NFL Odds: Bears (+9.5) // Cowboys (-9.5)
The betting line is high for two reasons. First, NFL handicappers believe Dak Prescott gets it going against Chicago’s defense. Second, most believe the Bears won’t come close to repeating their Monday night effort against the Patriots. In fact, many feel Chicago bounces off the 33-14 road win.
But teams don’t always bounce. In this case, the Bears may have finally taken the next step on both offense and defense in the smashing victory over Bill Belichick’s squad. Taking the points makes sense.

New England Patriots vs. New York Jets

After Monday night’s performance, it’s tough to back the Patriots against anybody. New England experimented by playing two quarterbacks.
The experiment failed. Who knows what the Pats will do in this game. One thing is for sure, the Jets are for real. NYJ’s 5-2 record is legit and this happens at the Meadowlands. J-E-T-S gets the nod.

Arizona Cardinals vs. Minnesota Vikings

- Where: U.S. Bank Stadium, Minneapolis, MN
- NFL Odds: Cardinals (+171) // Vikings (-200)
This key NFC clash could go either way. Yes, the Vikings are 5-1 and head into this after a week 7 bye. But Minnesota is an awful 2-4 against the spread.
DeAndre Hopkins returned to the Arizona lineup and look what happened? Kyler Murray targeted DeAndre 13 times, Hopkins caught 10 of the 13 passes, and Zona blasted New Orleans 42-34. The Cards can win this straight up.

New York Giants vs. Seattle Seahawks

So it turns out Pete Carroll is smarter than all of us. Nobody thought Pete was telling the truth when he said he liked his quarterback room. Pete doesn’t just like his quarterback room, he loves it. Geno Smith is completing over 73% of his passes, has thrown for 11 touchdowns to 3 picks, and has thrown for over 1,700 yards.
Seattle running back Kenneth Walker II is already one of the top five backs in the NFL. So if the Giants decide to stack the box agianst K-Dub II, Geno will burn them with the pass. Giants fall big time in this.

San Francisco 49ers vs. Los Angeles Rams

Neither one of these teams is playing well. Before their bye, the Rams had ended a 2-game losing streak with a 24-10 win against the Carolina Panthers but that was versus the Panthers. Before playing Carolina, Dallas had dumped the Rams 22-10 and the Niners had blasted LAR 24-9. San Francisco heads into this on a 2-game losing streak. Green Bay Packers vs. Buffalo Bills

In NFL Week 7, Green Bay lost their third straight. The loss happened against the hapless Washington Commanders.

The Bengals have won 4-of-5 and 3-of-4. What’s more important if you like Cincy to cover is that Joe Burrow broke out with a stunning NFL MVP like performance in the 35-14 win against the Atlanta Falcons.
The ATL is a solid franchise this season. The fact Burrow threw for 481 yards and 3 TDs while also running for a touchdown means Joe Cool is back. The Bengals should dominate the rival Browns on Monday night.
