Adam Hadwin

Earlier this month, Canadian standout Adam Hadwin was that close to winning the Rocket Mortgage Classic in Detroit, finishing tied in second place for his second runner-up finish of the season. Hadwin will have another crack this week at the 3M Open, where he’s finished solo fourth in 2019 and tied for sixth place in 2021. This odd-numbered top-10 success at the tournament has us high on Hadwin as a solid sleeper pick to win his first PGA TOUR event since March 2017.

J.T. Poston

Back-to-back T6 finishes at the John Deere Classic and the Genesis Scottish Open put J.T. Poston in a prime position to capitalize on his hot July stretch this week. Although his T41 showing at The Open last week is quite discouraging, the 30-year-old North Carolina native has still shown flashes of brilliance of late in general. Poston is averaging a score of 69.13 in two career trips with a T11 in 2021 at the 3M Open, so he’s another intriguing sleeper candidate to win it all this week.

Mark Hubbard

Steering clear from the European Swing ultimately paid off for Mark Hubbard, who picked up a T6 at the John Deere Classic and followed that up with another strong T10 performance in this past weekend’s Barracuda Championship. The 11-year pro out of Denver could be the next man in the long line of Americans who’ve won the past four editions of the 3M Open with his recent momentum. Not only that, but Hubbard’s lone showing at TPC Twin Cities was a decent T16 placement in his debut on the course a couple of years ago. This makes Hubbard another compelling dark horse pick to capture his maiden PGA TOUR victory this week.
