2022 F1 Dutch GP Recap

Verstappen not only won the pole but he also won the race. In typical Max domination, the Red Bull driver easily handled his competition. Mercedes driver George Russell finished second.

Ferrari got a podium spot when Charles Leclerc finished third. Lewis Hamilton finished fourth followed by Verstappen teammate Sergio Perez in fifth. Fernando Alonso finished sixth and Lando Norris finished seventh.

Top Pick to Win the 2023 Dutch Grand Prix

Sunday might be the day Ferrari gets a victory. Charles Leclerc drove well in this last year to secure third place.

Leclerc heads to the Netherlands off a decent third place at the Belgian Grand Prix. For sure, Verstappen must run into an issue for Charles to get the win.

But that’s the case for all drivers not named Max Verstappen. If Leclerc can stay close, who knows? Maybe, this is the race that ends Verstappen’s eight race winning streak, and, maybe, Leclerc wins.

Second Pick to Win the 2023 Dutch Grand Prix

No doubt, Max Verstappen should win this. But the odds continue to go lower and lower. So with every victory, Max becomes less playable.

Eventually, somebody is going to beat Verstappen. We have to take a swing against the chalk, but if you just want to cash a ticket, obviously, Verstappen is the pick to make.

He’s won 8 straight races and a ninth straight is almost a sure thing. Verstappen is the most dominant auto racer on the planet and Red Bull is unbeatable right now. So if you don’t mind the -400, go for it.

Third Pick to Win the 2023 Dutch Grand Prix

Lewis Hamilton drove well in Belgium, finishing third behind Verstappen, Sergio Perez, and Leclerc. If Mercedes can get it together, maybe, they win a race this year.

The win could come on Sunday. But the odds almost make Hamilton an underlay considering how things have gone so far this season. So we can’t endorse for the win spot.

Top Underdog Pick to Win the 2023 Dutch Grand Prix

Russell wasn’t terrible at the 2022 Belgium Grand Prix. George finished sixth, which wasn’t the worst he could have done.

The reason to believe Russell has a better finish this Sunday is because he scored a second place, podium spot at the 2022 F1 Dutch Grand Prix. For sure, Russell is a longshot. But everybody is an underdog longshot to beat Verstappen and George offers excellent 40-to-1 odds.
