2022 F1 Season Recap
The 2022 F1 Season had 21 races. Red Bull driver Max Verstappen won 14 of the 21. Verstappen’s dominated so thoroughly that some drivers began to complain about the setup.
Without a playoff, there was no reason for Verstappen to race at Japan, the United States, Mexico, or Brazil. But there Verstappen was, scoring victories in Japan, the U.S., and Brazil.

George Russell, who has emerged as Mercedes top hope for a driver’s title, finished fourth. Carlos Sainz, who took the checkered flag at the Great Britain Grand Prix finished fifth. Lewis Hamilton finished sixth.
