The 2023 FedEx St. Jude Championship has its roots dating back to 1967 when it debuted as the Westchester Classic. In 2007, the tournament was made the first FedExCup Playoffs event on the calendar when the FexExCup points system was introduced. This is the second straight year that the tourney is held in Memphis, with most of the St. Jude Championship’s previous interactions having been held in New York and other cities from the East Coast.
