2022 FireKeepers Casino 400 Recap
Kevin Harvick crossed the line first to grab the checkered flag. Bubba Wallace performed well enough for a second place finish. Third-place went to Denny Hamlin.
Joey Logano finished fourth followed by Martin Truex Jr. in fifth. The sixth through tenth positions went to Ryan Blaney, Kyle Larson, Erik Jones, Alex Bowman, and Ty Gibbs.
Top Choice to Win the 2023 FireKeepers Casino 400
At the 2022 FireKeepers Caisno 400, Kyle Busch had no shot of finishing in the top ten because he got into an accident. This year, Busch should land in the top five.
In the last, the Cook Out 400 that underdog Chris Buescher won, Busch finished third. Before the third place at Richmond, Kyle hadn’t had any luck with a twenty-first at Pocono and a thirty-sixth at New Hampshire.
Pocono and New Hampshire broke a string of two straight fifth place finishes. The third at the Cook Out 400 is a sign Kyle and his crew have returned to their best form.
Second Choice to Win the 2023 FireKeepers Casino 400
In the last three events, New Hampshire, Pocono, and Richmond, Denny Hamlin has been on fire. Hamlin finished seventh at New Hampshire, moving up thirteen spots after starting twentieth.
In the next race, at Pocono, Denny took home the trophy. Hamlin started eighth and made his way up to first. Then in the Cook Out 400, Hamlin finished second behind Buescher.
Denny scored a third place finish in this last year. If you think he’s worth a play as the chalk, consider for sure. No doubt, like Kyle Busch, Hamlin projects to finish no worse than fifth.
Third Choice to Win the 2023 FireKeepers Casino 400
2022 FireKeepers Casino 400 winner Kevin Harvick is in good enough form to take home the checkered flag on Sunday. Harvick boasts a pair of fourth place finishes and a tenth in the last three races.
The fourth place finishes came at New Hampshire Motor Speedway and Pocono Raceway. The tenth place finish came at Richmond last week. If Harvick gets a decent starting position, we must take him seriously as a contender to win the 2023 FireKeepers Casino 400.
Top Underdog to Win the 2023 FireKeepers Casino 400
The top underdog play had a great performance at Richmond last Sunday. Joey Logano finished fourth.
In the past few races, Logano has also finished second at New Hampshire and eighth at the Chicago Street Race. Joey appears to be sitting on a top performance. He might be due for a win.
Also, Logano finished fourth in this last year. So he knows the track well. The odds make the top underdog choice more than playable.
