2022 F1 Hungarian GP Recap
Although Max didn’t win the pole, Mercedes driver George Russell did, Verstappen won the race. Max started tenth, but he didn’t let that deter him from beating his rivals.
Russell fell from first to third. Russell’s Mercedes teammate, Lewis Hamilton, finished second behind Verstappen. Fourth place went to Carlos Sainz Jr. and fifth went to Verstappen’s Red Bull teammate, Sergio Perez.

Lewis Hamilton had a great 2022 Hungarian Grand Prix. Lewis didn’t win, but few drivers beat Red Bull and Max Verstappen last year.
Lewis did cross the line second. The form suggests Hamilton has a chance. The second pick finished third at the Canadian Grand Prix. Then in the next, at the Austrian Grand Prix, Hamilton finished eighth.

Then in the last, Perez managed a sixth place finish in the British Grand Prix. Sergio must step it up to win a podium spot. He could for sure. But the odds make him unplayable to put on top given the recent form.

George Russell not only won the pole at last year’s British Grand Prix, but he also managed a podium finish when crossing the line in third.
