After the sheer unpredictability of Week 1 caused significant damage to our Nitro NFL Survivor Pools, Week 2 was a bit more sustainable as the remaining survivors got a better grasp of what to expect out of each team after the opening week’s small sample size. That being said, not everybody is safe from elimination, and we’re back with a breakdown of this week’s developments in our eight buy-in survivor pools.

2023 Nitro NFL Survivor Pools: Week 2 Recap
A Relatively Quiet Week 2 Slate
Nitrobetting continues to deliver the best NFL survivor experience on the web with its 2023 Nitro NFL Survivor Pool contests with a total prize purse worth over 5.6 BTC (~$150,500) across multiple public and private survivor pools. To the delight of most survivor players, there weren’t as many upsets in Week 2. This resulted in fewer eliminations in our survivor pools this week, with the Titans’ OT victory against the Chargers and the Commanders’ road win over the Broncos being the two matchups that led to the most survivor downfalls. Over in our top-prized Nitrogen Pool, only three of the 24 remaining survivors were eliminated this week. Our Hall of Fame Pool had a worse experience, though, with the 51 survivors from Week 1 being whittled down to just 43 remaining after the action from Week 2. All things considered, this year’s two-week stretch was not as bad compared to last season’s back-to-back opening bloodbaths. Here’s how the 2023 Nitro NFL Survivor Pool landscape looks after Week 2:
NFL Survivor Picks for Week 3
The Chiefs have been far from their title-winning form to start the season, as even their Week 2 win over the Jaguars was far from convincing. That being said, one may choose to cash in their Kansas City lock for the season in Week 3, as the NFL’s defending champion is currently a heavy -13.0 home favorite to win over the winless and bumbling Bears. Speaking of the Jags, they too have a favorable matchup at home this Sunday against the Texans as a way to recover from their Week 2 loss. Jacksonville is a -9.5 favorite to beat Houston. Over on the NFC side of things, the Cowboys are expected to trample over the Cardinals, who are currently +12.0 home dogs going up against a Dallas team that’s averaging a league-best 35 points scored per game. However, some survivors may want to consider holding off on locking in the Cowboys this early in the season with how spectacular they’ve looked and with more suitable matchups for them still on the horizon.Where to Bet on the NFL with Crypto
