The hits just keep coming, as Week 8 of the 2023 NFL season had plenty of unlikely upsets. Our entire Nitro NFL Survivor campaign has been hit hard in the first half already, which should mean a rough time for our remaining survivors in our buy-in pools. However, is that really the case?

The Damage Has Already Been Done
Nitrobetting continues to deliver the best NFL survivor experience on the web with its 2023 Nitro NFL Survivor Pool contests with a total prize purse worth over 6 BTC (~$207,500) across multiple public and private survivor pools. A pair of Super Bowl contenders suffered massive upsets in Week 9, with the Chiefs getting stunned in Mile High by the Broncos and the 49ers losing at home to the rising Bengals. The Denver’s victory was the most shocking of them all, as KC had a 17-game win streak against the Broncos entering their latest divisional clash. Despite those two upsets, and luckily for the remaining survivors in our eight buy-in Nitro NFL Survivor Pools that began play in Week 1, this past week’s developments didn’t factor much in terms of eliminations. In fact, there were only a total of seven players who were eliminated this week, and our top three buy-in pools (Nitrogen, Hall of Fame, and MVP Pools) went untouched at that. Week 8 was an oasis for our survivors amidst the bloody battlefield of the 2023 NFL season. However, it’s about to get much tougher as we approach the midway point of the campaign, especially with the Week 9 schedule having slim pickings as we’ll get into the next section below.
