2024 NFL Wild Card matchups are set, odds are out, and teams are ready to roll. The action starts on Saturday when the Cleveland Browns head to Houston to take on the Texans a -2.5 road favorite and the Kansas City Chiefs host the Miami Dolphins a -3.5 home chalk. Then on Sunday, the first game pits Buffalo against Pittsburgh. Monday’s matchup shows Jalen Hurts leading the Eagles into Raymond James Stadium to throw down against Baker Mayfield and the Buccaneers. Which squads get it done? Cleveland Browns vs. Houston Texans
- When: Saturday, January 13th, 2024
If C.J. Stroud stays healthy, there will be a bust of him in Canton. However, he’s a rookie quarterback going up against arguably the fiercest defense in the NFL.
Myles Garrett will get to Stroud a couple of times in this game. On the other side of the ball, Browns quarterback Joe Flacco has been playing well. Cleveland could make a statement with a 14-point or more lopsided victory.

Miami Dolphins vs. Kansas City Chiefs
- When: Saturday, January 13th, 2024
If this game had taken place a month ago, it would be difficult not to take the points. But because this game is in the first weekend of January, the Chiefs are an overlay at -3.5.
After watching Tua Tagovailoa throw an interception that ended Miami’s rally against Buffalo on Sunday night, one of the worst interceptions thrown this season, it’s apparent that the Dolphins just aren’t as good now as they were at the beginning of the season.
Kansas City reactivated Mecole Hardman, which gives Patrick Mahomes a target in which he’s familiar. Hardman, Rashee Rice, and Marquez Valdez-Scantling on the field at the same time will open things up for Mahomes to throw to Travis Kelce. Also, KC’s defense is great.

Pittsburgh Steelers vs. Buffalo Bills
- When: Sunday, January 14th, 2024
The Bills were all out to beat the Miami Dolphins. Buffalo so hard that they suffered a few injuries on the defensive side. So it’s difficult to lay the 10 points in this.
However, the Steelers are likely to play this game without T.J. Watt. Pittsburgh’s defense is mediocre when Watt is on the sideline.
If Watt doesn’t play, the Steelers won’t stop Josh Allen. The man is on a mission. The mission starts by dominating the Pittsburgh Steelers.
2024 NFL Wild Card Pick: Buffalo Bills -10
Green Bay Packers vs. Dallas Cowboys
- When: Sunday, January 14th, 2024
Green Bay looked good beating the Chicago Bears at Lambeau in NFL Week 18, but this is a different ball game. The Dallas Cowboys aren’t a good road team.
They’re an exceptional home team. Jordan Love will struggle for sure. But if Love doesn’t turn the ball over, Aaron Jones could have a massive game.
Not only does Dallas struggle to run the football, but the Cowboys struggle to stop the rush. Jones will keep the Packers in this. Take the points.
2024 NFL Wild Card Pick: Green Bay Packers +7.5
Los Angeles Rams vs. Detroit Lions
- When: Sunday, January 14th, 2024
Detroit has a massive flaw that will cost them in this game. The Lions defense isn’t great versus the pass. Against many other teams, the Lions would be okay, but versus scorching Matthew Stafford, the Lions are in trouble.
Staff can hurl the pigskin to Cooper Kupp, Puka Nacua, Tyler Higbee, Tutu Atwell, Demarcus Robinson, and Kyren Williams out of the backfield. Sean McVay is an offensive genius. So you know he’s got a plan to put points on the board. Lions lose this straight up.
2024 NFL Wild Card Pick: Los Angeles Rams +3.5
Philadelphia Eagles vs. Tampa Bay Buccaneers
- When: Monday, January 15th, 2024
The odds should be flipped. Baker and his buds should be the -2.5 favorite, not Hurts and his mates. Philadelphia is playing like one of the worst teams in the NFL.
The Eagles started the season winning 10-of-11. Philly finished the season losing 5-of-6. Tampa finished the season winning 5-of-6. The Buccaneers defense has stepped it up big time in the second half of the season and Mayfield has something going with Mike Evans. Tampa gets the win.
