The Crimson Tide are on a roll (pun intended) with their current winning streak, whereas the Wildcats were just tamed by another conference rival to put an end to their own win streak.

Why Bet on the Alabama Crimson Tide?

The Alabama Crimson Tide are proving that their school is just as ripe in talent on the hardcourts as it is in the gridiron. They’re now on a three-game win streak following their 80-75 over the Mississippi State Bulldogs on Wednesday. Alabama remains tied in fifth place with the LSU Tigers as the race for SEC supremacy heats up in the back-end of the regular season.

Junior guard Jahvon Quinerly led all Crimson Tide players with 21 points against the Bulldogs. However, Quinerly went just 3-for-8 from beyond the arc as Bama struggled to get the deep ball going all game, with four of the team’s other five starters going a combined 0-for-15 from the three-point line.

The Tide are averaging 80.4 points per game, which ranks 17th in the nation and will be a tough out for the Kentucky defense to deal with. Head coach Nate Oats also hopes that calmer heads will prevail in this Wednesday’s rematch against the Wildcats, especially since he was ejected for two quick technical fouls in the winning effort against Mississippi State.

Unfortunately for the Kentucky Wildcats, they ran into a brick wall this Wednesday in the form of the Tennesee Volunteers. The Vols held the Wildcats to just 34.3-percent shooting from the field in a 76-63 win in Tennessee; Kentucky’s first double-digit defeat the entire season.

Only Kentucky forward Oscar Tshiebwecame to play during the loss, finishing with a double-double of 13 points and 15 rebounds (all team-highs). The rest of the team’s starters combined to score for just 28 points on 8-for-27 shooting. Thankfully, the Wildcats could chalk this up as an off night on the road as they prepare to keep their unbeaten run at home going.

Kentucky is a perfect 15-0 at Rupp Arena this season and has won 16 straight home games dating back to the previous season at that. However, John Calipari and his boys still have to be wary about the Tide, who pulled off a stunning 20-point upset of the Wildcats in Lexington last season.
