The Denver Broncos had a decent win streak going before entering last week’s bye, while the Buffalo Bills suffered another crushing defeat in spire of their relatively potent offense. Which team will pick up a huge victory in primetime?

Why Bet on the Cincinnati Bengals?

The Bengals D had been stepping it up. But in the last, things fell apart. Cincy had allowed 20 from Arizona, 13 from Seattle, 17 from the 49ers, and 18 from Buffalo in 4 straight wins. But in their last, the Bengals gave up 30 to the Houston Texans in a loss.

But although Cincinnati allowed C.J. Stroud to rally the Texans, we shouldn’t expect the Bengals to falter against the Ravens. Cincy’s D always plays the Ravens tough and Thursday night’s matchup will be no exception.

Joe Burrow and the Bengals offense have played great. Even against the Texans, Joe Cool and his teammates were on fire, scoring 27 points versus a decent Texans’ defense.

Burrow usually has the answer versus the Ravens D. Don’t be surprised if the Bengals get out to a hot start. Also, although Tee Higgins is out, Tyler Boyd and Ja’Marr Chase will play.

Why Bet on the Baltimore Ravens?

Sometimes, the Ravens defense plays like the best unit in the NFL. Baltimore held Seattle to 3 points a couple of games ago, as an example, in a 37-3 victory.

But then at other times, Baltimore’s defense is a disaster. The Ravens gave up 33 to the Cleveland Browns in a 33-31 loss in their last. Which Ravens defense shows up on Thursday night will go a long way in determining which squad wins this game.

Lamar Jackson is one of the best quarterbacks in the NFL. But as good as Lamar is, he’s been struggling throwing the ball deep. That’s could be an issue against the Cleveland defense.

When Baltimore gets the rushing attack going, though, the Ravens passing game flourishes. So we should see Baltimore run the ball early in hopes of controlling the clock and wearing down the Bengals D.

Baltimore versus Cincinnati should be a close game. At the end, the Bengals are the play on the money line because Baltimore can’t be trusted to get the job done late in games.

What we mean by that is Cincinnati’s Joe Burrow is used to rallying his team late to score winning drives. Baltimore’s Lamar Jackson failed to do so against the Indianapolis Colts earlier in the season and couldn’t shut the door against Cleveland last Sunday.

So at the end, Burrow is a more trustworthy QB with the ball in his hands in the fourth quarter. Cincinnati wins straight up.
