Cincinnati Bearcats (AAC)

  • 2022 College Football Win Total Odds: Over 9

Cincinnati lost a lot from last season’s College Football Playoff squad, but all Luke Fickell does is reload. 10 to 11 wins looks like a real possibility. The Bearcats can lose to Arkansas in their first game, and they’d still win 10 to 11 games. On the road versus UCF on Oct. 29 might be a challenge but other than that, Cincinnati will roll through their AAC schedule.

Clemson Tigers (ACC)

  • 2022 College Football Win Total Odds: Under 10.5

Michigan Wolverines (Big Ten)

  • 2022 College Football Win Total Odds: Under 9.5

Baylor Bears (Big 12)

  • 2022 College Football Win Total Odds: Over 7.5

Based on Baylor’s total, many believe the Bears’ 2021 was an anomaly. But David Aranda’s team is built for long-term success. Quarterback Blake Shapen didn’t throw an interceptions last season. The defense boasts 4 juniors and 5 seniors.

The schedule is no cakewalk. No Big 12 team has a cakewalk schedule. But Baylor can afford to lose to Oklahoma and Texas in tough road games and still win at least 8.

USC Trojans (Pac-12)

  • 2022 College Football Win Total Odds: Over 9.5

The win total is much too low on a team that has the potential to go 12-0. USC plays Utah on the road. That’s the only game where the Trojans might lose. Southern California has no business falling to Notre Dame at home.

Stanford isn’t close to having the type of roster that should challenge the Trojans. USC is a lock to win at least 10. 12 and an undefeated season is a real possibility.

Alabama Crimson Tide (SEC)

  • 2022 College Football Win Total Odds: Over 11.5

By going over on Alabama, we’re saying the Crimson Tide goes undefeated this season. Bama’s lone difficult game should be versus Texas A&M at home on Oct. 8. The Aggies can hang with Alabama. But since the game happens in Tuscaloosa, the Crimson Tide should win.

Road games versus Texas, Arkansas, and LSU look tough on paper, but Alabama has a much better roster than the Longhorns, Razorbacks, or Tigers. Bama should roll to an undefeated season, beat Georgia or Florida in the SEC Championship, and then head to the College Football Playoff the nation’s number one ranked team.
