: Ravens vs. Bengals 2021 NFL Week 16 Odds, Preview and Pick

Why Bet on the Baltimore Ravens?

Cleveland’s offense isn’t nearly as potent now as it was earlier in the season. The biggest issue is that the Browns have turned into a one-dimensional team. Cleveland averages an excellent 139.6 rushing yards per game.

The Browns, though, throw for just 201.5 yards each contest. Cleveland ranks 19th in total yards each game with 341.1. The Browns average under 21 points each time they step onto the gridiron. One major positive is how Cleveland doesn’t turn the ball over much. The offense has turned it over just 14 times, ranking 4th in the NFL.

In the second half of the season, Cleveland has almost exclusively relied on its defense. The D, led by top defensive end Myles Garrett, allows a total of 321.7 yards per game, ranking 5 the in the league.

Opposing quarterback average just 216.1 passing yards. Rivals rush for only 105.6 each game while Cleveland’s D allows a 13th ranked 21.8 points per game. The defense has 17 takeaways on the season, ranking 17th in the NFL.

Why Bet on the Cincinnati Bengals?

Reigning NFL MVP Aaron Rodgers leads an offense that does everything well. The Packers average 360.4 yards per game, which ranks 14th . Rodgers averages 253.6 passing yards, ranking 9th , and the rushing attack goes for 106.8 each contest, ranking 21st . The Packers average 25.6 points per.

The best part about Rodgers and the offense is that they rank 1st in the league in turnovers. Green Bay has turned the ball over just 10 times this season.

Green Bay’s defense has become one of the better units in the NFL. The Packers rank 9th in the league in takeaways with 21. Not only are Packer defenders opportunistic, but Green Bay ranks 8th in total yards allowed, 325.8. Opponents score just 21.6 per game, ranking 10th. GB is adept at stopping both the pass and the rush. The Packers rank 9 th versus the pass, 217.9 each game, and 12 th against the rush, 107.9 per contest.

Browns vs. Packers Expert Betting Predictions

Based on stats, it looks as if Cleveland has a chance to keep this close. They don’t. The problem the Browns have is they’re one of the hardest Covid hit teams. There’s no telling if Baker Mayfield or Case Keenum clear coronavirus protocols in time for this game, which means like what happened on Monday night, Nick Mullens may get the start.

Even if Mayfield or Keenum clear protocols, the Browns’ defense has almost no shot of stopping Aaron Rodgers and the Packers from scoring touchdown after touchdown. DE Takkarist McKinley is on IR after suffering an injury versus the Raiders. Top defender Myles Garrett is suffering from a groin injury. Garrett is likely to play, but how well will he play?

Also, the Browns must step onto the field on a Saturday after throwing down in a Monday night contest. One final thing to note, GB is 6-0 ATS at home. Any way we look at it, Green Bay is the team to back.
