Why Bet on the Dallas Cowboys?

The Cowboys are playing the second of their three-game road stint. They were able to secure a victory in their most previous matchup. It gives the squad good momentum as they play the Football Team on Sunday. This is also the first of two games they will play against Washington this December.

The visitors bring in plenty of offensive threats against a relatively weaker Washington defense. The Cowboys score the second-most points per game in the league. They average 29.4 points in 12 games played. With solid ground and passing games, the squad can pressure their opponents from different angles. The Cowboys average 129.0 (sixth) rushing yards and 287.3 passing yards (fourth) per game. Overall, the team combines for 4016 yards per game and is currently the league-best record.

Defensively, the Cowboys start to do well recently. The team held opponents off to 20 points or below in three of their last four games. Furthermore, they hold opponents to 111.1 rushing yards (14th) and 261.4 passing yards (28th) per game. This should fare well against a team heavy on the rushing play.

The Cowboys enter the contest with a healthy squad. Dak Prescott is coming from a 238-yard, one touchdown, and one interception performance. All of this gives the quarterback more confidence coming into Sunday’s game.

Why Bet on the Washington Football Team?

The Football Team is on a hot streak right now. Head coach Ron Rivera turned things around and asserted themselves against the Raiders, Seahawks, Panthers, and Buccaneers.

Defensively, the Football Team held opponents to 21 points or less in their last four games. It’s a huge improvement considering the side averages 24.8 opponent points (24th) per game. The team puts up solid protection against rushing play, which should cause the Cowboys some problems along the way. As a team, Washington limits opponents to 91.3 opponent rushing yards (third) per game.

We see plenty of promise from Washington’s rushing statistics. The team averages 124.4 rushing yards (ninth) per game. Expect the team to exploit this side of the offense to gain an upper hand on the Cowboys. Additionally, the Football Team records 221.2 passing yards (20th) per game.

Injuries will make it difficult for Washington to keep up with the Cowboys. The team currently has six players on the questionable list: tight end Ricky Seals-Jones (hip), center Tyler Larsen (knee), right guard Brandon Scherff (knee), right defensive tackle Jonathan Allen (groin), inside linebacker Jamin Davis (concussion), and strong safety Landon Collins (foot).

Cowboys vs. Washington Expert Betting Predictions

Washington has a clear shot of covering the spread here seeing what the team achieved in the past few weeks. The team put up good numbers against the Raiders in their last outing. As for Dallas, the Cowboys have seen better days in the last five games. The side has the healthier squad and better stats on paper, but Washington can make it tricky for the visitors to take this one home with ease.
