The thing about the NBA is that when a team rises to the top, they often stay there for multiple seasons. The Warriors dynasty ended last season and it won’t be back for a while. Enter the Denver Nuggets as the new dynasty.
Teams may try to compete with the defending champions, but it’s not likely to happen. Nikola Jokic, the best player in the league, is 28. Jamal Murray is 26.
Aaron Gordon is 27. Kentavious Caldwell-Pope is the elder statesman in the starting five at 30. Michael Porter Jr. is the starting five’s baby at 24.
The bench is deep enough for Joker and his mates to win three, four, five, maybe six in a row. As long as the starting sicks together, actually if Nikola, Gordon, and Murray decide to stick together, the Nuggets will be the team to beat.

Phoenix doesn’t require a dominant center like Ayton to score and grab boards. The Suns require at least one big body to play defense in the paint. Let Beal, Booker, and KD score the points. If the Suns pull off an offseason trade, for sure, they will be the top contender to Denver’s dominance.
