Davidson Wildcats vs. Alabama Crimson Tide

  • When: Tuesday, December 21st, 2021. 7:00pm ET
  • Where: Legacy Arena at BJCC, Birmingham, Alabama
  • NCAAB Betting Odds: TBA

Heading into the New Year, the Alabama Crimson Tide are playing like the best team in the deep SEC. Bama has a couple of signature wins against Gonzaga and Houston. Davidson is a good basketball team, though. The Wildcats are 8-2 SU and 9-1 against the spread. Bama could run away with this, but the Tide is 0-3 ATS in their last 3, which means the likelier scenario is Davidson covers.

NCAAB Betting Pick: Davidson

Xavier Musketeers at Villanova Wildcats

  • When: Tuesday, December 21st, 2021. 7:00pm ET
  • Where: Finneran Pavilion, Villanova, PennsylvaniaNCAAB Betting Odds: TBA

Xavier handled Marquette 80-71 in their last. But although the Musketeers beat the Golden Eagles, they didn’t cover. There’s a chance Xavier gets back on the covering track versus Villanova. Baylor absolutely destroyed Nova on Dec. 12, dusting the Wildcats 57-36. Villanova didn’t play well in their next game, falling 79-59 to Creighton. The 11-1 Musketeers have the much better offense. Xavier can win this straight up and cover the spread.

NCAAB Betting Pick: Xavier

UConn Huskies at Marquette Golden Eagles

  • When: Tuesday, December 21st, 2021. 9:00pm ET
  • Where: Fiserv Forum, Milwaukee, Wisconsin
  • NCAAB Betting Odds: TBA

UConn versus Marquette is one of those sneaky excellent Big East college hoops matchups that can go either way. UConn is the ranked squad, which means the Golden Eagles could end up an overlay against the spread. Marquette is a solid team. The loss to Xavier was their second straight. The other loss was versus UCLA, though, a solid top ten squad. The Golden Eagles end the losing streak. Marquette wins and covers.

NCAAB Betting Pick: Marquette

Louisville Cardinals at Kentucky Wildcats

  • When: Wednesday, December 22nd, 2021. 7:00pm ET
  • Where: Rupp Arena, Lexington, Kentucky
  • NCAAB Betting Odds: TBA

7-4 Louisville averages just 70.8 points each game. The Cardinals shoot less than 42% from the field and less than 31% from three. Kentucky blasted North Carolina 98-69 in their last game. The Wildcats shoot close to 49% from the field while averaging over 82 points per game. Expect a Big Blue blowout victory.

NCAAB Betting Pick: Kentucky

Arizona Wildcats at Tennessee Volunteers

  • When: Wednesday, December 22nd, 2021. 6:00pm ET
  • Where: Thompson-Boling Arena, Knoxville, Tennessee
  • NCAAB Betting Odds: TBA

Undefeated Arizona has also gone 8-2-1 against the spread. The Wildcats already have signature wins against Michigan and Illinois. Zona can beat you in many ways. They beat Illinois by leaning on Benedict Mathurin who is a for sure player of the year candidate. Mathurin dropped 30 onto the Illini. Tennessee is a solid squad and they do have homecourt advantage. But AZ averages 91 points per while allowing on average of less than 63. The Wildcats win and cover.

NCAAB Betting Pick: Arizona

Virginia Tech Hokies at Duke Blue Devils

  • When: Wednesday, December 22nd, 2021. 9:00pm ET
  • Where: Cameron Indoor Stadium, Durham, North Carolina
  • NCAAB Betting Odds: TBA

Duke’s lone loss this season happened versus Ohio State. Since the loss, Duke has covered as a -36 favorite, a -22 chalk, and a -27.5 favorite. Beating South Carolina State, Appalachian State, and Elon may have given the Blue Devils a false sense of superiority. On Wednesday, the Dookies play one of the better teams in the ACC. VA Tech has a decent 8-4 record. The losses were against Memphis, Xavier, Wake Forest, and Dayton. On Dec. 17, the Hokies dusted St. Bonaventure 86-49 on a neutral court. Hokies can hand Duke their second loss of the season.

NCAAB Betting Pick: Virginia Tech
