#25 Virginia Cavaliers vs. #15 Houston Cougars

  • When: Tuesday, November 16th, 2021. 7:00pm ET
  • Where: Fertitta Center, Houston, Texas
  • NCAAB Betting Odds: TBA

In their first game, Navy upset Virginia 66-58. The Cavaliers bounced back in their second game, 77-52, versus the Radford Highlanders. The Cougars are 2-0 after a couple of games and looking like one of the better teams in the nation. Ah, but Houston struggled versus Hofstra in their first game, winning the contest in overtime. UVA could take this on the moneyline.

NCAAB Betting Pick: Virginia moneyline

Michigan State Spartans at Butler Bulldogs

  • When: Wednesday, November 17th, 2021. 6:00pm ET
  • Where: Hinkle Fieldhouse, Indianapolis, Indiana
  • NCAAB Betting Odds: TBA

Kansas blasted Sparty 87-74 in Michigan State’s first game of the season. The Spartans bounced back with a decent 90-46 victory over Western Michigan. The victory could propel MSU to a win versus the tough Bulldogs on Wednesday. However, Butler is 3-0 after 3 games. The Bulldogs haven’t played anyone of note, but they’re allowing 22.9% from three. Still, Michigan State looks tough in this and should offer fair odds to cover as a slight road favorite.

NCAAB Betting Pick: Michigan State

#17 Ohio State Buckeyes vs. Xavier Musketeers

  • When: Thursday, November 18th, 2021. 5:30pm ET
  • Where: Cintas Center, Cincinnati, Ohio
  • NCAAB Betting Odds: TBA

Ohio State required a last second shot to prevent the first game upset loss to Akron. As a -16 ½ chalk, the Buckeyes’ victory didn’t inspire confidence. But OSU dominated Niagara in their last. Xavier struggled to a 3-point win over Niagara in their first game of the season. The Musketeers bounced back with a big win against Kent. The problem the Musketeers will have is containing E.J. Liddell. The Buckeyes’ big man averages 8 boards and 27 points per game. Liddell should be the difference in this. Give Ohio State the nod.

NCAAB Betting Pick: Ohio State

Wichita State Shockers vs. Arizona Wildcats

  • When: Friday, November 19th, 2021. 9:00pm ET
  • Where: T-Mobile Arena, Las Vegas, Nevada
  • NCAAB Betting Odds: TBA

Wichita State has won twice already this season. They face a decent Arizona Wildcats team on Friday, though. The thing about the Shockers is that although their 3-point defense is fantastic, they shoot 25% from behind the arc. The Cats average 92.5 points per contest. AZ has played a couple of cupcakes for sure. But the Wildcats have shown they’ve got a decent defense and a well-coached offense. New head coach Tommy Lloyd knows what he’s doing.

NCAAB Betting Pick: Arizona

#4 Villanova Wildcats vs. #18 Tennessee Volunteers

  • When: Saturday, November 20th, 2021. 12:00pm ET
  • Where: Mohegan Sun Arena, Uncasville, Connecticut
  • NCAAB Betting Odds: TBA

Nova played great in the 77-86 loss to the UCLA Bruins in their last. Don’t be fooled by the 9- point margin. Villanova pushed UCLA to overtime. The Bruins took over in OT, which is how UCLA covered the spread. Tennessee has scored over 90 points in a couple of wins against Tennessee-Martin and Eastern Tennessee State. The Wildcats have shown they can hang with a Final Four potential squad, which means Nova themselves have Final Four potential. Jay Wright’s team wins this and covers if they show up as the chalk.

NCAAB Betting Pick: Villanova

Stanford Cardinal vs. #8 Baylor Bears

  • When: Saturday, November 20th, 2021. 12:00pm E
  • Where: Ferrell Center, Waco, Texas
  • NCAAB Betting Odds: TBA

Stanford is a good program, but the Bears have more than enough from last season’s squad to win this and cover. Granted, Baylor played against Incarnate World in their first. But Scott Drew’s team is already showing the type of balance that last year’s title group displayed. James Akinjo led the Bears in assists, Matthew Mayer led in points, and Jonathan Tchamwa-Tchatchoua led in rebounds. Baylor all the way.

NCAAB Betting Pick: Baylor

#19 North Carolina Tar Heels vs. #7 Purdue Boilermakers

  • When: Saturday, November 20th, 2021. 3:00pm E
  • Where: Mohegan Sun Arena, Uncasville, Connecticut
  • NCAAB Betting Odds: TBA

Purdue should roll the Tar Heels on Saturday. Sure, North Carolina is 2-0 after a couple of games, but the Tar Heels don’t have close to the defense they’ll require from keeping Purdue from dropping close to 90 if not more than 90. On Nov. 12, Brown scored 87 in a 94-87 UNC win. On Nov. 9, Loyola-MD scored 67 in an 83- 67 Tar Heels victory. Purdue allows less than 30% from three-point range. Big Zach Eddy averages 19 points per. This could get out of control early.

NCAAB Betting Pick: Purdue
