But Cards’ QB Kyler Murray will play and the Patriots are on a 2-game skid. Will The Valley get it together enough for the home win? Can New England beat AZ as the road chalk?

Why Bet on the New England Patriots?

The Patriots’ offense has an on-off pattern. Like a thoroughbred that runs great in one race but then bombs in the other, New England scores over 20 one game and then doesn’t break 10 points in another. The Pats dropped 26 onto the Colts in a win. Then in their next game they scored 10 and the 7 came via an 84-yard punt return.

But almost every defense in the NFL would allow the Vikings and Bills to score. Overall, the Patriots rank eighth in total points allowed per game at 18.8.

New England ranks seventh in total yards allowed at 311.8 and the Pats rank eighth in takeaways with 17 on the season. Fantastic linebacker Matthew Judon has 13 while d-back Jonathan Jones has 3 picks.

Why Bet on the Arizona Cardinals?

The Cardinals lost their last game, but there were signs Arizona may be turning things around. AZ fell to the Los Angeles Chargers in their last 25-24.

The Desert Birds’ offense threw up 24 points. Kyler Murray played okay. More importantly, he orchestrated a fourth-quarter drive that gave The Valley the lead. If not for Justin Herbert’s heroics, the Birds might have beaten the Bolts. Arizona rushed for 181 yards, which is a great sign for an offense that averages 114.9 rushing yads and 22 points each matchup.

Based on yards allowed and their takeaway ranking, Arizona’s defense shouldn’t give up as many points as they do. Zona ranks thirty-first in points allowed per game at 26.8.

But the Cards allow just 110.8 rushing yards each contest, ranking eleventh. Also, AZ’s D has 14 takeaways, ranking sixteenth. JJ Watt is playing well, with 6.5 sacks. Unfortunately, the Card’s secondary has a single interception.

Arizona has lost 4-of-5. Their only win came against a reeling Rams squad. With that being said, we can make a case for the Cardinals to get the victory in this.

Zona played a team with a better offense than the Patriots’ in their last and almost scored the win. Ah, but the Bolts field one of the worst rush defenses in the league.

Arizona won’t rack up 181 rushing yards against the Patriots’ defense, which means pressure will fall on Kyler to make plays. If it comes down to Murray versus Belichick’s D, we have to side with Bill’s defense. Patriots win and cover.
