David Goffin played well at the French Open. In the first round, Goffin beat Jiri Lehecka 6-4, 4- 6, 6-4, 6-4. Goffin followed up the win with a 5-set victory over Frances Tiafoe. Goffin fell in the third round at Roland-Garros to Hubert Hurkacz. Goffin’s Wednesday match versus Medvedev should be closer than many believe. Medvedev grabbed the ATP’s top-ranking, but the world’s #1 fell to Tim Van Rijthoven in the finals at the Libema Open in his last. Goffin can pull off the upset win.

Alex de Minaur vs. Alejandro Davidovich Fokina
de Minaur played great in his first Cinch Championship match, beating Reilly Opelka 6-4, 6-4. The victory was Alex’s first in the last couple of tournaments played. Fokina beat Albert Ramos Vinolas 7-5, 6-4 in his first round match. The underdog in this should have a chance. He didn’t win his first round French Open match, but since then he’s been on the bench. It may take her a match or two to get back on track. Li may not win, but she should keep this to within the handicap.
