Top 2022-23 NBA Season Games for Final Two Weeks

By Hank Blaine

The Los Angeles Lakers welcomed back LeBron James from his injury on Sunday night, so it’s safe to say the Lakers are not missing the Western Conference play-in tournament. But another star studded club, the Dallas Mavericks might. Here’s a look at two intriguing early-week matchups around the NBA. Check back for NBA odds.

Top Games to Bet on During the Last Two Weeks of the 2022-23 NBA Season

Philadelphia 76ers vs. Denver Nuggets

  • When: Monday, March 27, 2023

The Sixers are 4 games behind the Bucks and Celtics for the top seed in the NBA Eastern Conference Playoffs. Denver has a 3.5 games lead over Memphis for the Western Conference Playoffs top spot.

That’s the first reason you can’t miss this game. The other reason is because this could be a preview of the 2023 NBA Finals.

Los Angeles Clippers vs.Memphis Grizzlies

  • When: Wednesday, March 29, 2023

The Clippers are a game and a half from the play-in tournament. If LAC can’t secure the fifth or sixth seed, they must play in the tournament. No team wants to have to play in the tournament to get to the postseason.

Beating Memphis on the road won’t be easy. The Grizzlies still have hopes of getting home court.

Boston Celtics vs. Milwaukee Bucks

  • When: Thursday, March 30, 2023

Two games separate the Bucks and Celtics. If the playoffs were to start today, Milwaukee would have home court throughout.

But there are two weeks left. So the Celtics believe they can get it done. No doubt, Milwaukee versus Boston is shaping up as this season’s Eastern Conference Finals. So keep an eye on this game.

Denver Nuggets vs. Phoenix Suns

  • When: Friday, March 31, 2023

Denver must keep Memphis from cutting the gap for home court during the playoffs. For Phoenix, the game is likely more meaningful.

The Suns have imploded. Phoenix is in fourth place, but the Suns are just 2 games ahead of seventh place New Orleans. If Phoenix drops into the play-in tournament, who knows what might happen? DeAndre Ayton and Kevin Durant are both hurt.

Philadelphia 76ers vs. Milwaukee Bucks

  • When: Sunday, April 2, 2023

Sixers versus Bucks should be an entertaining game. Philadelphia must prove they can hang with the 2021 champs.

Last season, Philadelphia was a one-dimensional team in the playoffs. If that happens again, Philly won’t have any shot of getting past Milwaukee or Boston. The 76ers must show a different dimension.

Boston Celtics vs. Philadelphia 76ers

  • When: Tuesday, April 4, 2023

Philly has a crazy competitive schedule in the final two weeks. Two days after battling Giannis Antetokounmpo and the Milwaukee Bucks, the Sixers take on Jayson Tatum and the Boston Celtics.

If the Sixers are successful in these next two weeks, who knows? They could end up with the top seed in the Eastern Conference. It’s not likely to happen, but it could.

Miami Heat vs. Philadelphia 76ers

  • When: Thursday, April 6, 2023

Miami is a half a game behind the Brooklyn Nets for the playoff’s sixth seed. The Sixers could over take the Bucks and Celtics in this game.

Denver Nuggets vs. Phoenix Suns

  • When: Thursday, April 6, 2023

Phoenix must again battle the top team in the Western Conference. The Suns could easily fall from fourth down to ninth or even tenth.

Things aren’t going well for the Suns. So this, like the March 31 game against the Nuggets, is a must win.

Memphis Grizzlies vs. Milwaukee Bucks

  • When: Friday, April 7, 2023

Ja Morant against Giannis should be great. Both teams most likely will play hard because the top seed in their respective conferences could be on the line.

This could also be a preview of this year’s NBA Championship Series.

Sacramento Kings vs. Denver Nuggets

  • When: Sunday, April 9, 2023

Sacramento is a game behind Memphis for the second seed in the West. The team that notches the second seed gets home court should they face the third seed.

After Denver, Memphis, and Sacramento, the rest of the West is a mess. No team, not even the Clippers and the Suns, are on the same level as the top three teams. This could be for the 1-seed or the 2-seed if the Kings play well down the stretch.
