The 2022 QBE Shootout is the 33rd edition of the team-format tournament that began back in 1989 and has seen multiple name/sponsorship changes over the years. The Tiburon Golf Club has hosted the event since 2001, with the Sherwood Country Club in California being the tourney’s inaugural and only other venue.
A huge prize pool worth $3.8 million is at stake in Naples this week, which is up from the $3.6 million payout from the previous year. Similar to last week’s Hero World Challenge event in the Bahamas, the QBE Shootout will not award FexExCup points, which would explain why the total prize purse is relatively smaller compared to official PGA TOUR money events.
Here’s how the $3.8 million prize money for each of the 12 finishers of the 2022 QBE Shootout will be distributed, with each golfer splitting their prize earnings with their respective teammate at an even 50/50 split:
