The 2022 RSM Classic, formerly known as the McGladrey Classic, has been a fixture of the PGA TOUR season since 2010. The idyllic Seaside Course of the Sea Island Golf Club in Georgia has hosted the tournament on all previous occasions and the RSM Classic sponsorship name change was introduced in 2015.
A huge prize pool worth $8.1 million is at stake in St. Simons Island this week. Similar to a majority of PGA TOUR events this season, the RSM Classic saw a $900,000 prize purse increase from last year’s edition of the tournament.
