The 2022 TOUR Championship is the deciding tournament to wrap up a given PGA TOUR season. The East Lake Golf Club in Atlanta became the annual host of the TOUR Championship in 2004 and has been crowning the overall winner of the PGA TOUR season since.
A massive prize pool worth $50 million is at stake at East Lake this week, with the overall winner taking home the lion’s share of the pot at a cool $18 million. Only the top 30 players who’ve garnered the most FedExCup points in the season are set to participate, with the 30th-place finisher still set to take home no less than half a million dollars just for making the season’s final cut.
