2021 PGA Travelers Championship Recap
English had to work hard for his 2021 Travelers Championship trophy. The winner beat Kramer Hickock in a playoff. Marc Leishman finished in third place while Abraham Ancer finished fourth. Five golfers finished at -10 and tied for fifth, including Brooks Koepka, who has decided to join LIV Golf.

Scheffler entered the club house this past Sunday a stroke off eventual winner Matt Fitzpatrick. If not for Fitzpatrick’s amazing bunker shot on the 18 th hole in the final round that put him in position for a par, Scottie may have found himself in a playoff. The Masters winner is the top pick to take the Travelers trophy.
Second Top Pick to Win the 2022 Travelers Championship
Justin Thomas disappointed at the U.S. Open, finishing thirty-seventh. But before that, JT had finished third at the RBC Canadian Open. Not only that, but Thomas won the PGA Championship, finished a tied fifth at the Byron Nelson and eighth at the Masters Tournament. Overall, Thomas is playing well enough to warrant a long look to win the Travelers.
Third Top Pick to Win the 2022 Travelers Championship
Xander Schauffele could be sitting on a victory. The 20-to-1 shot won the Zurich Classic of New Orleans in April. He hasn’t won since then, but he’s played great, finishing a tied fifth at the AT&T Byron Nelson, a tied thirteenth at the PGA Championship, and an eighteenth at the Memorial Tournament.
Schauffele didn’t finish in the top ten at the U.S. Open. But he did finish fourteenth and won $241,302. The third pick is striking the ball well. If you believe, the odds make Schauffele more than playable.

Leishman missed the cut at the Memorial, which might explain why he offers +4000 odds to win the Travelers Championship. But the Memorial happened a few weeks ago.
Based on Leishman’s U.S. Open performance, he has a much better chance than the odds indicate to lift the trophy. Not only did Leishman finish third at the 2021 Travelers, but he finished tied fourteenth with Shauffele at the U.S. Open.
