Detroit Lions vs. Green Bay Packers
- When: Thursday, September 28th, 2023. 8:15pm EST.
- Where: Lambeau Field, Green Bay, WI
- NFL Odds: Lions (-1.5) // Packers (+1.5)
The Detroit Lions played a fantastic game to beat the Atlanta Falcons 20-6. But Detroit battled the ATL at home.
On Sunday, the Lions take on the Packers in Green Bay. Jordan Love took the next step when rallying his mates to an 18-17 win over the Saints. Packers make it 2 straight.

Atlanta Falcons vs. Jacksonville Jaguars
- When: Sunday, October 1st, 2023. 9:30am EST.
- Where: Wembley Stadium, London
- NFL Odds: Falcons (+3) // Jaguars (-3)
The Jaguars showed no life in the loss to the Houston Texans. Although Atlanta is a different team, the Falcons have a better rushing attack than the Texans.
So if the Jags can’t stop Bijan Robinson, the ATL will win this straight up. Taking the points is the play.

Los Angeles Rams vs. Indianapolis Colts
- When: Sunday, October 1st, 2023. 1:00pm EST.
- Where: Lucas Oil Stadium, Indianapolis, IN
- NFL Odds: Rams (+2) // Colts (-2)
The Colts played great football when beating the Baltimore Ravens on the road. But this is a different situation. The Rams blew four trips in the red zone against Cincinnati, having to settle for field goals on 3-of-4, or else they’d have beaten the Bengals. The Rams win straight up.

Washington Commanders vs. Philadelphia Eagles
- When: Sunday, October 1st, 2023. 1:00pm EST.
- Where: Lincoln Financial Field, Philadelphia, PA
- NFL Odds: Commanders (+2) // Eagles (-2)
It’s tough to endorse the Commanders on the road versus an Eagles team that finally hit their stride. Philly blasted a decent Tampa Bay Buccaneers squad 25-11 on Monday night. Washington struggled big time versus the Bills at home. Eagles cover.

Denver Broncos vs. Chicago Bears
- When: Sunday, October 1st, 2023. 1:00pm EST.
- Where: Soldier Field, Chicago, IL
- NFL Odds: Broncos (-3) // Bears (+3)
The Bears played awful football in the 41-10 loss to Kansas City. However, no team in the NFL has more questions to answer than Sean Payton’s Denver Broncos.
Payton doesn’t have Denver playing well on either side of the ball. Almost as important is the fact the Broncos show no desire to win. Chicago continues Denver’s losing streak.
2023 NFL Week 4 Pick: Chicago Bears
Tampa Bay Buccaneers vs. New Orleans Saints
- When: Sunday, October 1st, 2023. 1:00pm EST.
- Where: Caesars Superdome, New Orleans, LA
- NFL Odds: Buccaneers (+3) // Saints (-3)
Derek Carr is week-to-week. So Carr may not play. But even if the Saints must turn to Jameis Winston, New Orleans is the play to win and cover.
The Bucs’ offensive line didn’t hold up against the Eagles’ pressure. New Orleans will pressure Baker as much as the Eagles did. This happens in the dome and Marshon Lattimore can go man-to-man against Mike Evans.
2023 NFL Week 4 Pick: New Orleans Saints
Baltimore Ravens vs. Cleveland Browns
- When: Sunday, October 1st, 2023. 1:00pm EST.
- Where: Cleveland Browns Stadium, Cleveland, OH
- NFL Odds: Ravens (+3) // Browns (-3)
The Ravens had 7 players out last week, which is the reason Baltimore fell to the Indianapolis Colts in overtime. It’s also the reason the Browns are the chalk in this and continue to attract money.
But all 7 Ravens starters are listed as questionable for this. Also, Lamar Jackson is playing great football and can use his legs to evade Myles Garrett, which is why Baltimore is the pick.

Minnesota Vikings vs. Carolina Panthers
- When: Sunday, October 1st, 2023. 1:00pm EST.
- Where: Bank of America Stadium, Charlotte, NC
- NFL Odds: Vikings (-3.5) // Panthers (+3.5)
Minnesota is having issue after issue. The Vikings, though, should play well enough to beat a Carolina Panthers squad missing their top defensive player in Shaq Thompson.
But the hook makes it difficult to back the Vikings. Minnesota keeps turning the ball over and shooting themselves in the foot. The Vikings may win, but they won't win by more than 3.

Pittsburgh Steelers vs. Houston Texans
- When: Sunday, October 1st, 2023. 1:00pm EST.
- Where: NRG Stadium, Houston, TX
- NFL Odds: Steelers (-3) // Texans (+3)
Houston looked great versus Jacksonville, but we shouldn’t assume the Texans have turned into a good football team. Pittsburgh will field one of the NFL’s top defenses in this. So Texans QB C.J. Stroud wills struggle.
2023 NFL Week 4 Pick: Pittsburgh Steelers
Miami Dolphins vs. Buffalo Bills
- When: Sunday, October 1st, 2023. 1:00pm EST.
- Where: Highmark Stadium, Orchard Park, NY
- NFL Odds: Dolphins (-3) // Bills (+3)
In NFL Week 4’s top matchup, the 2-1 Bills host the 3-0 Miami Dolphins. Even though Miami’s offense has played lights out in all of their games, the Fins face arguably the league’s top defense and Miami is on the road. In addition, the Dolphins should bounce after the 70-point outburst. So Buffalo to cover is the play.
2023 NFL Week 4 Pick: Buffalo Bills
Cincinnati Bengals vs. Tennessee Titans
- When: Sunday, October 1st, 2023. 1:00pm EST.
- Where: Highmark Stadium, Orchard Park, NY
- NFL Odds: Bengals (-3) // Titans (+3)
It’s not easy backing the Bengals or Titans. We must assume, though, that Cincinnati will continue their terrific play after beating a much better than Tennessee team in the L.A. Rams on Monday night.
The Bengals’ defense will pressure Ryan Tannehill all day. Not only that, but Cincinnati’s offense should continue to play better as Joe Burrow’s calf heals.

Las Vegas Raiders vs. Los Angeles Chargers
- When: Sunday, October 1st, 2023. 4:05pm EST.
- Where: SoFi Stadium, Inglewood, CA
- NFL Odds: Raiders (+6) // Chargers (-6)
Jimmy Garoppolo may not suit up because he suffered a concussion in the loss to the Pittsburgh Steelers. Without Jimmy G., the Raiders don’t have much of a shot of keeping this close.
Even if Jimmy G. plays, Las Vegas is playing bad football while the Chargers got a massive win against the Vikings in Minnesota. Los Angeles covers.
2023 NFL Week 4 Pick: Los Angeles Chargers
Arizona Cardinals vs. San Francisco 49ers
- When: Sunday, October 1st, 2023. 4:25pm EST.
- Where: Levi’s Stadium, Santa Clara, CA
- NFL Odds: Cardinals (+13.5) // 49ers (-13.5)
Arizona should bounce off the big win against the Cowboys. Even if Zona doesn’t, the Desert Birds face the most complete team in the NFL on Sunday.
The 49ers have scored 30 points in every game this season. SF boasts one of the NFL’s top defenses. 14 is a lot of points, but the Niners cover.
2023 NFL Week 4 Pick: San Francisco 49ers
New England Patriots vs. Dallas Cowboys
- When: Sunday, October 1st, 2023. 4:25pm EST.
- Where: AT&T Stadium, Arlington, TX
- NFL Odds: Patriots (+6.5) // Cowboys (-6.5)
Dallas fans will blame Dak for the loss to the Cards, but the real culprit is a Cowboys’ defense that forgot how to play. The Boys are a different defense without Tevon Diggs at cornerback.
Dallas will find it difficult to keep Mac Jones and the Patriots from moving the football. When Dallas has the pigskin, don’t be surprised if Bill Belichick has a game plan that causes Dak to throw 2 interceptions. The Patriots can win this straight up so taking the points is the play.
2023 NFL Week 4 Pick: New England Patriots
Kansas City Chiefs vs. New York Jets
- When: Sunday, October 1st, 2023. 8:20pm EST.
- Where: MetLife Stadium, East Rutherford, NJ
- NFL Odds: Chiefs (+6.5) // Jets (-6.5)
For the second straight week, KC plays a bad team, which means for the second straight week, the Chiefs should cover.
Zach Wilson is a disaster at quarterback. Wilson’s play has got the Jets defense dejected. Don’t be surprised if Mahomes and the Chiefs win by closer to 20 than 10.
2023 NFL Week 4 Pick: Kansas City Chiefs
Seattle Seahawks vs. New York Giants
- When: Monday, October 2nd, 2023. 8:15pm EST.
- Where: MetLife Stadium, East Rutherford, NJ
- NFL Odds: Seahawks (+1.5) // Giants (-1.5)
For the second straight week, Seattle’s offense scored 37 points, which is bad news for the Giants and their fans because NYG’s offense is a mess.
The G-Men show three offensive line starters, LT Andrew Thomas, LG Ben Bredesen, and RT Evan Neal, listed as questionable. Also, strongside linebacker Azeez Ojulari and running back Saquon Barkley aren’t likely to play. Seattle wins and covers.
