Best Super Bowl LVII Props

By Hank Blaine

There are some Super Bowl props we shouldn’t consider betting. For example, betting on the color of Gatorade that ends up on the winning coach’s noggin is silly. So is betting on which team wins the coin toss. But other props, and they’re almost all player props, can lead to decent payouts. Check out four Kansas City props and four Eagles props that you should put on your betting radar.

Top 4 Kansas City Chiefs Super Bowl LVII Props

Patrick Mahomes Passing Yards

The Eagles have the best passing defense in the NFL. But Philadelphia has had moments this season when the pass defense fell apart.

Dak Prescott dominated the Eagles’ pass defense. If Dak did it, so can Patrick. Mahomes is a good bet to reach the 300 yards mark in this game.

Isaiah Pacheco Rushing Yards

The Eagles have the best passing defense in the NFL. But Philadelphia has had moments this season when the pass defense fell apart.

Dak Prescott dominated the Eagles’ pass defense. If Dak did it, so can Patrick. Mahomes is a good bet to reach the 300 yards mark in this game.

Travis Kelce Receiving Yards

The Eagles can’t double-team Travis Kelce because that will leave Juju Smith-Schuster and Marques Valdez-Scantling on islands. Not only that, but even when you double Travis, he somehow comes up with the catch. 80 yards receiving should be a lock.

First Completion Yardage Length Patrick Mahomes

Magic Mahomes averages 8.1 yards per completion. The reason for the high average is because Andy Reid calls few swing passes. Reid runs a vertical passing game. So Patrick’s first completion figures to go for about 10.

Top 4 Philadelphia Eagles Props

Devonta Smith Receiving Yards

This should be a good prop. Kansas City must decide to either double team AJ Brown or Devonta Smith. No doubt, Steve Spagnuolo will go with doubling AJ, which means Devonta will be one-on-one. If KC isn’t careful, Smith can go over this total on a single catch because he’s so good at stretching the field.

Miles Sanders Receptions

Because Kansas City will be paying attention to Smith, Brown, and Eagles’ tight-end Dallas Goedert, Sanders should be open for outlet catches. Sanders had just 20 receptions this season. But the Super Bowl is when coaches like Nick Siriani mix it up. So we should expect Siriani to throw the ball more to Miles.

First Rush Jalen Hurts

Siriani is great at getting Jalen in space for long yardage runs. The first rush may not occur until the Eagles second or third possession. But when it does, Hurts will rumble for more than 3.5 yards.

Rushing Yards Jalen Hurts

There are a couple of wrinkles Nick Siriani is likely to employ to counter Spagnuolo’s defense. First, he’s going to use Miles Sander more in the passing game. Second, he’s going to lull the Chiefs to sleep with throws in the first quarter and then start allowing Jalen to run wild in the second, third, and fourth quarters.

Jalen Hurts should easily eclipse 50 rushing yards. Don’t be surprised if Jalen goes for more than 100.
