Sam Noakes vs. Sathish Kumar
Noakes versus Kumar should be an entertaining bout. Noakes is a massive money line favorite, which is why we’re handicapping the total rounds.
Unlike so many of his fellow British boxers, Noakes has learned how to throw power shots. The chalk is 10-0 with 10 stoppage victories. In his last, Noakes beat then 12-0 Calvin McCord via fourth-round technical knockout.
Sathish Kumar is 10-0. Kumar has just 4 stoppage wins, though. He doesn’t have much shot in this. In fact, under is the play. Kumar not only lacks power but he hasn’t fought outside of Thailand, his native India, and Dubai.

Denzel Bentley vs. Kieran Smith
Denzel Bentley hopes to get past a loss in his last fight versus an overmatched opponent, which is why, again, we’re going to handicap the total rounds. Zhanibek Alimkhanuly beat Bentley via 12-round unanimous decision in Denzel’s last.
When Bentley wins, and he should on Saturday, he usually wins via knockout or technical knockout. In this case, Bentley will stop 18-1 Kieran Smith before the end of the seventh.
Smith is a decent boxer. But he’s been fighting cream puffs compared to Bentley. Denzel ends this early.

The total seems light considering Lundy has so much experience. However, Lundy faces 9-0 with 9 knockout or technical knockout wins Ernesto Mercado.
Mercado has power for days. He should get to Lundy. The chalk won’t get to the dog until after the fifth, though. Lundy will do everything he can to extend the fight and Mercado’s corner will tell him to be patient. Over is the play.

18-2 Wilfredo Mendez has some talent. He should fight well against Yudai Shigeoka but this is a mismatch.
Shigeoka has a dynamite right jab that’s faster than anything Mendez has seen. Yudai uses the jab to both set up his power shots and measure his opponents. His jab also counts as a power punch when he throws it at a certain angle. Mendez is in big trouble.

Rene Mark Cuarto vs. Ginjiro Shigeoka // Interim IBF World Straweight Title
Undefeated Ginjiro Shigeoka faces the toughest test of his young career. Shigeoka has a nice 8-0 record with 6 stoppage victories. For sure, Shigeoka can win this.
But it’s tough to look past the underdog. Rene Mark Cuarto is 21-3-2. So Cuarto has a huge experience advantage. Cuarto is also the more experienced counter puncher. No doubt, Shigeoka can win, but he stands straight up and has a tendency to leave his hands down. Cuarto will take advantage.
