Top Boxing Betting Picks of the Week (December 1st, 2022)

Jonfer vs. Molina – Polideportivo de Carranque, Malaga, Andalucia

  • When: Saturday, Dec. 3rd, 2022. 2:00pm ET.

Jon Fernandez vs. Samuel Molina // Spain Super Lightweight Title

This bout is for the Spanish Super Lightweight crown. Underdog Samuel Molina has won 22 with a pair of losses and has won 11 via stoppage.

Favorite Jon Fernandez is 23-2. Fernandez has a big edge in power. Jon has knocked out 20 of his opponents, which means Molina should be in some trouble in this.

Also, Samuel’s last loss happened in April and this will be his sixth fight of the year, which feels like too many bouts.

Boxing Betting Pick: Jon Fernandez -30

Fury vs. Chisora – Tottenham Hotspur Stadium, London, England (ESPN+)

  • When: Saturday, Dec. 3rd, 2022. 1:00pm ET.

Tyson Fury vs. Derek Chisora // WBC World Heavyweight Title

This should be a cakewalk for the supremely skilled Tyson Fury. Tyson took the fight, we believe, to give Derek a shot.

Fury looked great dominating Dillian Whyte. He will look even better against Chisora. But Tyson won’t embarrass Derek. So we should expect Fury to elongate the bout to at least the eighth round.

Boxing Betting Pick: Tyson Fury Over 6.5 -152

Estrada vs. Chocolatito 3 – Desert Diamond Arena, Glendale, AZ (DAZN)

  • When: Saturday, Dec. 3rd, 2022. 8:00pm ET.

Joselito Velasquez vs. Cristofer Rosales

Rosales brings a nice 34-6 record with 21 knockout wins into the ring. Cristofer shows a loss this year, an April bout against Angel Ayala Lardizabal. The loss came via unanimous decision and since losing, Rosales has bounced back with a pair of wins.

Joselito Velasquez is 15-0-1. The Mexican fighter took a huge step up in class in his last, a bout against Jose Soto. Velasquez won the fight via sixth round TKO. Joselito should keep his undefeated record intact.

Boxing Betting Pick: Joselito Velasquez -303

Julio Cesar Martinez vs. Samuel Carmona // WBC World Flyweight Title

Carmona has an excellent 8-0 record. Not only that, but Carmona has won 4 of his bouts via stoppage. 3 bouts were via straight up knockout and the other victory came via technical knockout. So if Carmona has such a solid record, why is he the big time underdog? All of Carmona’s fights have happened in Spain.

Julio Cesar Martinez is 18-2 and lost his last bout. However, the loss happened against the great Roman Gonzalez. Chocolatito is a future hall of famer. Martinez bounces back with a huge win. So if you see a knockout prop that you like, go for it.

Boxing Betting Pick: Julio Cesar Martinez -833

Juan Francisco Estrada vs. Roman Gonzalez // WBC Franchise, Ring Magazine Super Flyweight Title

Estrada versus Gonzalez should be an absolute war. When these two fought the first time, Juan Francisco did enough for the 12-round split-decision victory.

Estrada shows up the dog even though he followed up the 2021 win against Roman with a 12-round unanimous decision win versus Argi Cortes in September.

Perhaps, the short time between bouts is why Juan Francisco is such a big time underdog. Roman fought Martinez in March. Still, it’s tough to go against the champ at the overlay odds. JFE gets the nod.

Boxing Betting Pick: Juan Francisco Estrada +200
