Why Bet on the Miami Dolphins?

The Miami Dolphins made history in Week 3 after blowing the Denver Broncos out of the water with a 70-20 thrashing. Miami was the first NFL team since 1966 to score 70 or more points in a single contest, making the Fins the talk of the town and one of the top contenders for the Lombardi Trophy all of a sudden.

They’ll also be facing a frightening Bills defense, so their offensive eruption will be more contained than the combined efforts put up by the Broncos, Chargers, and Patriots thus far.

Had it not been for the Dolphins stealing the spotlight, the Buffalo Bills would’ve garnered more headlines for their own 37-3 demolition of the Washington Commanders in Week 3. Josh Allen didn’t need to do much through the air with how his team’s running game and defense have come to full form. Allen threw for just 218 yards with one passing TD and one pick, but also ran the ball three times for 46 rushing yards and another score. Buffalo gained 268 rushing yards against Washington, adding another dimension to its already-potent offense.

Speaking of the defense, the Bills were in their element this past weekend, racking up nine sacks and four takeaways. Buffalo has the second-best defense in the NFL only behind the Browns in terms of yardage (253.0 YAPG) and points allowed (11.7 PAPG), and this unit will be thoroughly tested by an explosive Miami offense to set up a fantastic divisional matchup this Sunday.
