But then Philly hosted San Francisco and lost in a blowout. The Eagles then lost in a blow out to the rival Cowboys in NFL Week 14. Why Bet on the Philadelphia Eagles?

Since allowing just 17 points to the Kansas City Chiefs in a fantastic win, the Eagles defense hasn’t played well. Versus the Buffalo Bills, Philly gave up 34 points.

The Eagles beat Buffalo. The wheels fell off the defense in losses to San Francisco, 42-19, and Dallas, 33-13.

Philadelphia has some injury issues on the defensive side of the ball. WLB Zach Cunningham, FS Reed Blankenship, and RCB Darius Slay list as questionable. If even one of those players don’t step onto the field, Seattle’s offense could have major success.

Jalen Hurts and the Philadelphia offense are doing everything they can to score victories. Hurts is having a decent season, throwing for 3,192 yards and 19 touchdowns.

But the Eagles quarterback has also tossed 10 picks. In addition, although Hurts has scored 12 rushing touchdowns, he’s averaged just 3.7 yards per carry.

Defenses have become more adept at preventing Hurts for rushing for a lot of yards on any carry. Defenses still can’t stop the Tush Push, but defenses have gotten better at keeping the Eagles QB from running for big chunks of yardage.

Why Bet on the Seattle Seahawks?

Seattle’s defense is decent but it’s not great. To make matters worse for the Seahawks, five starters list as questionable.

NT Jaran Reed, RDE Leonard Williams, LILB Jordyn Brooks, LCB Devon Witherspoon, and SS Jamal Adams may or may not step onto Lumen Field on Monday night. If one or two of those key defensive players don’t participate in this game, Jalen Hurts and the Eagles offense will move the ball with no issues.

Geno Smith is questionable. If Smith plays, the Seahawks will have a much better chance of beating the Eagles than if Drew Lock plays.

It’s not that Lock is a bad quarterback. But Smith is almost always on the same page with one of the league’s top wide receivers, DK Metcalf. DK can beat any corner in the league one-on-one. Metcalf is also good as beating double-teams. If Lock and Metcalf worked on timing this week, the Seattle offense should be good to go.

Eagles vs. Seahawks Expert Betting Predictions

Philadelphia didn’t just lose to San Francisco and Dallas. The Eagles lost in blowouts. That’s a bad sign for Hurts and his mates heading to Seattle.

The Seahawks are tough to beat at Lumen Field. Not only that, but Smith lists as questionable, which means Geno is likely to play in this. If Geno does play, watch out. The Seahawks will move the football because the Eagles are having defensive issues.

Almost as important? Visually, Philadelphia looks like a tired bunch. The Eagles just don’t seem to have the same verve they showed earlier in the season. The moneyline odds make the home team more than playable.
