Kentucky Wildcats vs. LSU Tigers

- Where: Pete Maravich Assembly Center, Baton Rouge, Louisiana

The Wildcats are on a 4-game straight up and against the spread streak. The impressive victory during the streak is a 98-69 win versus the North Carolina Tar Heels on a neutral court. Kentucky faces a good team on Tuesday. LSU’s lone loss this season happened versus Auburn. The Tigers faced Auburn on the road. At home, there’s a good chance LSU gets back on the winning track. The Tigers are the play.

Creighton Blue Jays vs. Villanova Wildcats

- Where: Finneran Pavilion, Villanova, Pennsylvania

On Dec. 17, Creighton blasted Villanova 79-59. The 10-3 Blue Jays followed up the victory with a 70-69 overtime road win against Marquette. But although Creighton will play hard, Villanova has turned around their form. Since the loss to the Blue Jays, the Wildcats have beaten Xavier 71-58, and Seton Hall on the road 73-67. Nova is asserting their Big East dominance. Wildcats take this SU and ATS.

Texas Tech Red Raiders vs. Iowa State Cyclones

The Red Raiders are 4-1 straight up in their last 5. Texas Tech’s only loss was versus top five squad Gonzaga on a neutral court. Iowa State didn’t beat Baylor in their last. But in the 72-77 loss, the Cyclones proved they could hang with the best team in the nation. Iowa State should get back on the winning track here. Still, the odds could make the Cyclones unplayable. Taking the points on Tech makes the most sense.

UConn Huskies vs. Seton Hall Pirates

- Where: Prudential Center, Newark, New Jersey

The Big East is deep, which is why this is an important contest. The Huskies head into this after a 78-70 victory against Marquette. UConn has won 4-of-5. Seton Hall heads into this after losing to Villanova. The loss to the Wildcats happened on the Pirates’ court, which makes this a bounce back game. Seton Hall should do enough for the win and cover.

Michigan State Spartans vs. Michigan Wolverines

Big Ten power Michigan State is 4-1 ATS in their last 5 and 7-0 SU in their last 7. MSU is winning by shooting lights out, Sparty is 39% from three, and playing lockdown defense, opponents shoot 28.8% from three agianst MSU. Michigan isn’t playing well at all. This is a home game, though. So we must give Michigan the benefit of the doubt. The Wolverines have to step it up on Saturday, or, as crazy as it sounds, their season could be over before mid-January.

Arizona Wildcats vs. Arizona State Sun Devils
- When: Saturday, January 8th, 2022. 4:00pm ET
- Where: Desert Financial Arena, Tempe, Arizona

The Pac-12 canceled Arizona’s last couple of games. The Wildcats wanted to play and beat fellow conference ranked teams UCLA and USC. Instead, U-of-A gets to dominate the rival Sun Devils in their first game since losing to Tennessee. Make no mistake, the top scoring squad in college hoops is the much, much better team. Because this happens at ASU, the Cats might go off at overlay odds.
