Vegas Golden Knights vs. Toronto Maple Leafs

Heading into the week, the Golden Knights are 4-4 straight up. Vegas has yet to get on track, though. The problem? Injuries have hit the Knights early. Mark Stone is listed as out indefinitely, Max Pacioretty is out until late November, and Nolan Patrick is listed as out indefinitely. The Toronto Maple Leafs are suffering no such injury issues. Marner, Matthews, and Tavares should dominate.

Vladimir Tarasenko and the offense lead St. Louis in goals per with 4.7 each contest. The defense ranks eighth in goals allowed each match at 2.5. The Kings are 3-5-1. So expect a St. Louis puck line victory.

With a 3-2-1-1 record heading into the week, things aren’t dire for the New York Islanders. But if you’re an Islanders fan, you must struggle with the fact that NYI averages 2.4 goals per and allows 2.4 goals each match. Montreal is 2-8 on the moneyline. The Canadiens average less than 2 goals per. They allow almost 4 goals each match. If the Islanders are anywhere close to being a playoff team, Anders Lee and his mates should take apart Montreal on Thursday. Give NYI the nod.

It sure looks as if Artemi Panarin is set on helping the Rangers end the playoff drought. As of October 31, NYR is 6-2-1. Panarin doesn’t even lead the team in shots. Chris Kreider does. If you’re a Rangers fan, that’s a good thing. You don’t want NYR leaning too much on their best players. Edmonton, along with fellow Canadian team Calgary, are dominating their Pacific Division foes. The Oilers are 6-1 SU after 7 matches. Like always, Conor McDavid and Leo Draisatl lead the way. The Rangers won’t make it easy. But Edmonton should win this.

The Vancouver Canucks are tied with the expansion Seattle Kraken for last place in the Pacific. The Canucks have just 7 points. Vancouver can win. But so can Dallas. We’ll go with the home team because there’s a good chance they offer value on the moneyline.
