Why Bet on the Baltimore Ravens?

Baltimore’s defense rarely plays a bad game. The Ravens gave up 33 tot eh Browns in a loss and 31 to the Rams in a win, but other than those two games, Baltimore has shut down their opponents this season.

Lamar Jackson should pocket his second NFL MVP this season. For sure, Brock Purdy is putting up fantastic stats, but Jackson is doing it both on the ground and through the air.

Lamar has thrown for 3,105 yards while completing close to 66% of his passes. Jackson has tossed 17 touchdowns to just 7 interceptions. Lamar has rushed for 741 yards, a 5.5 per carry average, and 5 TDs.

Almost as important? Jackson wills the Ravens to victories. He is the sole reason Baltimore prevented the loss to the Rams. The 49ers will struggle to contain the Baltimore quarterback.

Why Bet on the San Francisco 49ers?

Although the 49ers boast one of the league’s best defenses, San Francisco could struggle versus a dual-threat quarterback like Lamar Jackson.

Arizona’s Kyler Murray threw for 211 yards and a TD against SF. Kyler threw a couple of interceptions, but he’s not as careful with the ball as Jackson.

More importantly, Kyler rushed for 46 yards on 6 carries, which is 8.2 yards per carry. James Connor rushed for 86 yards and a TD against the 49ers D. If San Francisco isn’t careful, Jackson and the Ravens could score 30 in a heartbeat.

Brock Purdy is dominating defenses. Purdy has thrown 3,795 yards while completing close to 70% of his passes. Purdy has thrown for 29 touchdowns to 7 interceptions.

Purdy is unstoppable because Deebo Samuel, Christian McCaffrey, and George Kittle are unstoppable. But as well as the 49ers offense has played, San Francisco faces a talented defense on Monday night.

SF could be in for a tough game versus the Ravens. Don’t be surprised if Purdy and his mates have their worst game since the loss to the Bengals.
